Creating great video with a smartphone is easy when you have a DJI Osmo Mobile stabilizer. We did a review of the DJI OM3 a while back and now we are happy to announce that DJI just released the newest version: the OM4 Smartphone Stabilizer. The features of this new version of the DJI Osmo were kept a secret until the launch on August 26: but they did send me five to give away as prizes. So learn more about Osmo stabilizers then enter for a chance to win.
How easy is to use an Osmo Mobile smartphone stabilizer?
The Osmo Mobile smartphone stabilizer series are known for their ease of set up and for providing an inexpensive, easy to use way to shoot professional looking videos with just your smartphone. You know the problem we all have with phone videos: they are jittery, lose focus of the subject, etc. Capturing steady always-on-point videos by holding a phone in your hand is not easy. Mount the phone in an Osmo and suddenly a whole world of videography opens up. The gimble and software can keep the subject in the center of the field of view no matter if your hand is shaking or bouncing around. Imagine you are filming a lightning storm from a moving car on a bumpy road; with your smartphone in an Osmo Mobile the image is perfectly stable. It really does all the work; you just hold it in your hand and decide what to shoot.
DJI has created an amazing technology that keeps getting better with each iteration. Erin mentioned in her review of the Osmo Mobile 3 that the new features in that version made it more versatile. What will the Osmo Mobile 4 offer?

features that I like: (1) Dynamic Zoom
(2) Active Track 3.0
Hello,
I would like to try the dynamic zoom and the active track features. In general, I would like to try all of its features. DJI never disappoints.
Thank you!
The features I’d try on the Osmo Mobile 4 are:
1. DJI ActiveTrack 3.0 to keep my subjects in focus while they are moving around.
2. DynamicZoom to get cool cinematic zoom shots.
I have never owned an Osmo but have had the opportunity to use earlier versions and love the new features of this new model. I would love to work with the Magnetic quick mount to effortlessly capture all sorts of still images and video on my camera. I would also like to try the
DynamicZoom feature that allows cinema-grade zooms such as the dolly zoom effect. I would be so honored to win one of these and would use it constantly.
Honestly, as someone who had the osmo mobile 2, my biggest pet peeves were the mounting bracket and the size, so the magnetic attachment and the foldable build really excite me
Gesture control and quickmount
Would love to try the magnetic mount and dynamic zoom
The active track 3.0 and the dynamic zoom are my favourites

The dolly zoom effect…and 15 hours on a single single charge (definitely want to see that for myself!)
Active track and dynamic zoom will be interesting to use on the go!
The ease in taking the DJI OM4 out and folding it back neatly when done will make it easy to film spontaneously. The magnetic quick mount feature will give confidence in knowing my phone is secure!
I like the ring holder to keep the phone on your finger for handheld shooting and I like that it is foldable and portable. It is easy to keep in my backpack for short trips.
I am wanting to try the Active track feature and the Mimo App story mode looks to me as a winner.
Story mode and active tracking sound like a great way to tell a story.
