Philips shavers and toothbrushes motivate us to care for ourselves. I am a huge advocate of their products: I’ve used Philips shavers my whole adult life. And for the past few years I’ve had cleaner, healthier teeth thanks to my Philips electric toothbrush. The benefits go well beyond looking better too. Enter this contest and if you win you too will understand why I never want to be without Philips.

Discover the importance of “me time” with Philips

How much time in a day to you set aside for personal care? I know some people do a better job at this than others; and, circumstance may have changed recently for many people, so they aren’t doing things like haircuts and dental visits as often. That should make setting some time for yourself each day even more important.

Many guys lately, me included, have been letting their facial hair grow lately. I don’t mind having a beard; I do mind when it is unkempt. With a Philips shaver or trimmer trimming and shaping your look would do more than just make you happier with your appearance. Putting yourself first for a few minutes each day will make you an overall happier, healthier person.

Finding personal time each day is easier with personal care tools

We all need to invest some time each day on ourselves to stay healthy and happy. One great thing about the new Philips electric toothbrushes is they tell you when you’ve brushed enough. Most people who get one learn immediately that they had not been taking enough time for oral hygiene. I realized very quickly after starting to use my Philips toothbrush that my whole mouth felt better and looked better as a result.

For this contest, I want you to think about how much time each day on average you actually spend on taking care of yourself. Then imaging if you won a prize in this contest and how using it for a few minutes each day might benefit you.

How to enter

Entering this contest is easy but you can only enter once. In a comment below, tell us how many minutes on average in a given day you spend on yourself and do you think this is enough, too little, or too much.

  1. 10-15 minutes, maybe. I’m a simple make-up kind of girl. An hour if I straighten my curly hair. I think that’s enough time.

  2. I spend about 30 minutes each day. meditating as well as focusing on myself and how I can improve each day. I think 30 minutes too is less and I aim on spending 1 hour each day on myself.

  3. I spend approx. 35 min. on myself, including mornings and nights.
I think that’s enough since I don’t apply makeup daily.
    Thank you

  4. Thank you for the opportunity. I typically spend 20-30minutes on self care majority of the time is spent on oral hygiene as this is most critical to me. Aside from in home self care, I also spend a great amount of money on waxing/grooming. Having the opportunity to win any of your trusted tools would be extremely beneficial as I am expecting my first child and anytime saved would be wonderful.

  5. I spend usually over an hour and as a guy this is way too much!

If I had the Philips Series 6000 Rotary Shaver, I would save so much time!

    Thanks Best Buy!

  6. I don’t spend more than 15 minutes on myself and I don’t think it’s nearly enough time.

  7. I am entering for my husband because he doesn’t spend enough on his “beauty routine” as I would like him too. Shaving with an old razor every other day will take him maybe 10 mins. or so. We are expecting our first child in August and I think he will deserve some MORE time than that to take for himself and to make his skin feel good. It is not enough right now. I hope to win this for him (for his first Father’s day ever!).

  8. Thank you for the opportunity to win a Philips Sonicare Toothbrush, or a Philips Total Body Shave and Trim, or a Philips Shaver 6000. Right now, I spend approximately 20 minutes a day, on average on myself. It’s a bare minimum and I could use the time one of your prizes could help save on a more glamourous look.

  9. Depends on the time of year. Summer time it’s pretty quick, about 20 mins. Winter is much more leisurly. About 40 mins

  10. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to win one of the following: a Philips Sonicare Toothbrush, or a Philips Total Body Shave and Trim, or a Philips Shaver 6000. Right now, I spend approximately 20 minutes a day, on average on myself. I believe it is the right amount of time; however, I do not have the right tools to do it properly. Presently, for example, I use a manual toothbrush. Not only would the Philips Sonicare Toothbrush improve the overall cleaning of my teeth, but it would also keep track of the amount of time brushing, as well as the amount of pressure put on the brush. As my gums bleed, this would be important for me. The shavers would also do a much better job as I also shave manually.

  11. I probably spend one hour a day.I am a senior and tend to spend more time cooking and baking for my grand children. They have favorites which I like to make for them.

  12. Spend at least 1 hour a day. Brushing my teeth, shaving & other grooming.
Proper tools are a big help & reduce time spent on grooming. Would be very grateful to win this prize because in need of new tools!!

  13. I most likely spend 15 minutes on myself per day. I don’t think its enough, I should prioritize more self care!
