What fan of the Avengers wouldn’t want the amazing Citizen Marvel Avengers watch? It gives you a unique expression of style (given that it’s a Citizen watch) and affiliation to arguably the most popular movie series in history. Are you a true fan? If so then you probably want to read the rest of this article so you know how to enter for a chance in this contest.

Citizen style combined with undeniable class … Avengers class

There are so many Citizen watches available at Best Buy that I think would look great for any occasion. We already gave away one of my favourites in a blog contest a few weeks ago, the Brycen chronograph. Imagine all the places you would look great with the watch we are giving away in this contest: the Avengers Watch. Everyone would be envious.

After all the Avengers are the most popular movie franchise of all time and Avengers: Endgame was the highest grossing film of all time. And there are many more Avenger related movies set to some out in the future, so the watch will remain relevant for many years to come.

It’s time the Avengers became part of our holiday traditions

We all love holiday movies too. However, the types of movies that seem to be produced are not ones that will compete with the popularity of the Avengers. In fact, most of the new movies that came out this year I don’t even want to watch. They’re often so similar to all the others in style and substance that after watching one you feel like you’ve seen them all.

I think Marvel should start a new Christmas franchise of movies where they recreate the Holiday classics, but with Avengers and appropriate alterations to the storyline. For example, “The Incredible Hulk’s Christmas Carol.” So, think of which holiday classic movie could be improved with one or all of your favourite Avengers saving the holiday.

How to enter

Entering this contest is easy, but you can only enter once. In a comment below, tell us which holiday classic would be improved with some or all of the Avengers in it. Be creative and let us know some of the storyline so we can really get into the holiday spirit.

What you can win

At the end of this contest we will select one winner to receive the Citizen Marvel Avengers watch.

This contest runs from Dec 16th until December 29th.

Remember you can only enter once. But discuss the contest with your friends and see who can come up with the most interesting reimagining of a holiday classic film that includes an Avenger or two.

Win a Citizen Marvel Avengers Watch Rules and Regulations

Good luck!

  1. It would have to be the classic A Christmas Carol with an Avengers twist. You would have an old Bruce Banner who has spent his later years not fighting for justice but working for a large pharmaceutical making billions on people’s suffering. He is visited that night by three Avengers past present and future. At the end of the epic adventure he realize the error of his greedy ways and donates his fortune to a children’s hospital. It’s a real Christmas miracle.

  2. I think a remake of the Christmas Vacation would be a fun one to do with the Avengers as an extended family and lots of fireworks and action.

  3. Home Alone with the help of the avengers would be amazing. Kevin could have his house equipped with all of Ironman’s gadgets and security, the robbers wouldn’t stand a chance. Thor could provide free electricity so the Christmas lights and decorations don’t run up the bill. Hawkeye could surveillance the area and maybe with the help of the other avengers stop all the robberies that happened on the street. It would be fantastic because in the sequel when In New York, Kevin can stay in avengers tower, while Harry and Marv going to get help from some of the Avengers enemies to get back at Kevin and pursue their dreams of being the wet bandits.

  4. Reindeer games. All the characters except Ben Affleck can be secretly Avengers and the movie plot wouldn’t be any less convincing.

  5. Deck the Halls..but instead of Devito..lets say Ironman and instead of Broderick…lets go with Captain America…and maybe a few other Avengers thrown in as co conspirators….could you imagine the light show! and the power bill..lol.

  6. Remake Groundhog Day as an Avengers movie, using the same premise of time being manipulated, repeating itself, stuck in a time loop, and with the Avengers discovering the meaning and the origins of the Time Stone while incorporating all the other stones in the backdrop of the story by referencing them. The stones were basically the scattered energies (ashes) of an all powerful being that had destroyed itself (much like the explosion of a supernova). The cause of “death” is unknown but the “death” of this all-powerful being subsequently caused the creation of these 6 gems/stones. Naturally Dr. Strange would assume the title character of the one that Bill Murray played, but instead of the undertone being comical, remake it with the same seriousness as Endgame. I personally think it would make an awesome movie, not just a holiday movie.

  7. I believe The Avengers would fit in great with the holiday classic Home Alone! They could either help out the little kid defend his house or they could be the bad guys!

  8. I think if some Marvel characters invaded Nakatomi Tower instead of Hans Gruber the outcome may be a bit different…

  9. Well … if you consider Die Hard a holiday classic, the Avengers can save the day there. But most people don’t, so I say Iron Man helping Santa pull the sleigh in place of Rudolph!
    🙂

  10. I think it would be quite adorable if, in the Charlie Brown Christmas show, Charlie Brown found Baby Groot and decided to decorate him as the Christmas Tree. I can just imagine Baby Groot singing “Hark the Harold Angels Sing” with revised lyrics: “Groot Groot Groo-oot Groo-oot Groooot.”

  11. The Santa Claus Movie from Disney – Tim allen character to be replayed by Captain America, given that he shares the same compassion and he is more apt for being Santa and doing a lot of things…

  12. FROSTY THE SNOWMAN with THE HULK as frosty……. ‘he led them down the streets of town right to the traffic cop, and he only paused a moment when he heard him holler STOP’

  13. The Christmas Story with the Avengers helping Ralphie with the bullies that always want to fight him. The bullies would finally be put in their place and forever look up to Ralphie after that. The Avengers could also give him lessons on how not to shoot your eye out with your prized Red Ryder BB Gun.

  14. Home Alone where Kevin has spider mans powers however the intruders also have superpowers to… so its similar to end game

  15. I think The Hulk would make an awesome Grinch, just don’t make him mad lol
thank you for the prizes, it’s a beautiful watch,

  16. Elf and instead of the reindeers it was the avengers. So when elf is being introduced to his new family and everyone is bullying him he can tell them that he’s friends with the avengers

  17. I discussed with my kids and let them come up with an idea. They unanimously decided that the Grinch would be best served with an injection of Avengers. After all, in their words, he is the “ultimate criminal!”.

  18. It’s a Radioactive Wonderful Life: Jimmy Stewart is secretly Iron Man (he inherits the suit from his father) and he has to prevent Mr. Potter-Thanos from getting all of the Infinity Stones. Ernie and Bert are both radioactive Hulk people, and Donna Reed is Black Widow. The Alcoholic forgetful uncle is bit by a radioactive wombat, and fights petty crime, like parking infractions and double parking during his coffee breaks. Its all he has time for. The town is exactly the same, but there is a giant Avengers tower in the skyline that violates 17 zoning and building ordinances. It throws a giant shadow upon main street. Everyone pretends that it isn’t there. Eventually world destroyer and planet muncher Galactus comes with his herald and threatens the town. In order to save the town and the world, Jimmy Stewart bargains with Mephisto (the Devil referenced by another more politically correct and copy-writable name) that he wasn’t born. The devil grants his wish, but it is to no avail. Galactus reigns supreme and he hungers. Mr. Potter gets all of the infinity Stones and defeats Galactus and the Silver Surfer, with a mere snap of his fingers. The mutant X-man Angel secretly rescues Iron Jimmy Stewart from the netherworld Hades, after telling him that Black Widow was in danger from evil Mr. Potter-Thanos. Iron Jimmy Stewart travels back in time with Bing Crosby and they give Lil’ Mr. Potter a happy white Christmas, and the magic sled that he named Rosebud. Mr. Potter grows up to be a kind good hearted person, and never becomes Potter-Thanos. Everyone returns to the Current time, and appear to live happily ever after, but then Dr. Doom is elected President of the United States and destroys the United Nations. There is a cutscene in the credits that shows baby Groot getting a message from Nick Fury and Captain America . . .

    • Could you imagine Will Ferrell’s Elf being part of the Avenger’s? Watching Nick Fury trying to interview him would be amazing.

  19. In A Christmas Carol, Captain America will be the Ghost of Things to come in an interesting time change- to put a more positive spin on the future with goodness and honour.

  20. How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The grinch being the Hulk, when the hulks heart grows he turns back to Bruce Banner and brings back all the present to whoville. all the other characters would be the rest of the avengers but kiddie versions
