What fan of the Avengers wouldn’t want the amazing Citizen Marvel Avengers watch? It gives you a unique expression of style (given that it’s a Citizen watch) and affiliation to arguably the most popular movie series in history. Are you a true fan? If so then you probably want to read the rest of this article so you know how to enter for a chance in this contest.
Citizen style combined with undeniable class … Avengers class
There are so many Citizen watches available at Best Buy that I think would look great for any occasion. We already gave away one of my favourites in a blog contest a few weeks ago, the Brycen chronograph. Imagine all the places you would look great with the watch we are giving away in this contest: the Avengers Watch. Everyone would be envious.
After all the Avengers are the most popular movie franchise of all time and Avengers: Endgame was the highest grossing film of all time. And there are many more Avenger related movies set to some out in the future, so the watch will remain relevant for many years to come.
It’s time the Avengers became part of our holiday traditions
We all love holiday movies too. However, the types of movies that seem to be produced are not ones that will compete with the popularity of the Avengers. In fact, most of the new movies that came out this year I don’t even want to watch. They’re often so similar to all the others in style and substance that after watching one you feel like you’ve seen them all.
I think Marvel should start a new Christmas franchise of movies where they recreate the Holiday classics, but with Avengers and appropriate alterations to the storyline. For example, “The Incredible Hulk’s Christmas Carol.” So, think of which holiday classic movie could be improved with one or all of your favourite Avengers saving the holiday.
How to enter
Entering this contest is easy, but you can only enter once. In a comment below, tell us which holiday classic would be improved with some or all of the Avengers in it. Be creative and let us know some of the storyline so we can really get into the holiday spirit.
What you can win
At the end of this contest we will select one winner to receive the Citizen Marvel Avengers watch.
This contest runs from Dec 16th until December 29th.
Remember you can only enter once. But discuss the contest with your friends and see who can come up with the most interesting reimagining of a holiday classic film that includes an Avenger or two.
Love, Actually could replace Billy Bob Thornton, who played the nasty president, with Loki.
Oh my…I think Die Hard would have been awesome with the Avengers. Even more bad-a$$ action! And then the Avengers make McClane an honorary member. And then make it so down the line he ends up almost dying in an attack, one from some evil misguided research group. And he is hit with a toxin that changes something in him. And BAM! He gains a power. He becomes a fellow super hero and becomes a full fledge member, not just an honorary member.
Home alone 2
If I could remake one holiday movie, it’d be Jingle All The Way starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Instead of Turbo Man, the popular toy that everyone is after is an Iron Man action figure!
Would love to see a short on a Xmas party for Avengers, just like the short scene the Avengers went to eat pizza!(except maybe have it longer) lol
I’d love to see the Avengers in A Christmas Carol.
In the scrooge the avengers could be the ghosts of past, present and future. Or scrooge could be thanos.
Lampoons Christmas Vacation.
Imagine if Rudolph and Santa had Iron Man thrusters on the sleigh??
A Christmas Story could use the Avengers. They would protect Ralphie from his bully and show him how to use his Red Ryder air rifle, so he doesn’t shoot his eye out. Maybe he could become an honorary Avenger.
Home Alone! Even though Kevin did an awesome job setting up those traps for those pesky thieves, he could have used a few Avengers to help him out with keeping his house and neighbors house safe!
A Christmas story
Die Hard could really use the Avengers help!!
Imagine if Iron Man made an appearance in ANY Hallmark Christmas special… Heck any of the Avengers, even Ant Man would improve those movies tenfold!
It’s a Wonder-ful Woman’s Life
Any of the Avengers in the Christmas classic Jingle All the way. I mean c’mon. Arnold with the Avengers.
The Avengers could make life more wonderful in It’s a Wonderful Life
The Avengers could improve the movie The Polar Express – imagine how fast the train could go with a little help from them!!
The Nightmare Before Christmas with the Avengers to the rescue.
They could prevent the Grinch from stealing Christmas in Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
The Avengers could improve Scrooge by being the ghosts.
A Christmas Story.
Cap could handle the bully.
I think The Avengers would be awesome in Home Alone! Kevin McAlister really could have used some help. And they could have set some even more elaborate traps.
Elf with the avengers as his wingmen. singing carols and generally cleaning up after all his goof ups
I think Captain America should show up in It’s a Wonderful Life to give the film some propaganda-style “up with life” cheer.
The Avengers would improve National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation by helping Clark put up his lights.
The Avengers would have been an asset to Kevin McCallister in HOME ALONE
Captain America is Buddy the Elf long lost brother. Buddy teaches Captain America about maple syrup, Santa and loving life after Captain America helps buddy save Christmas when Santa is held hostage.
Tony Stark in Back to the Future
Just saying
Polar express
I would love to see some of the Avengers in How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Thanos could partner up with the Grinch!
In Home Alone, the Avengers help Kevin take out the two bad guys.
I would love to see the Avengers in A Christmas Carol. My son would absolutely LOVE this watch.
Oh gosh – the Grinch – they help return everything super fast!
Avengers Christmas Vacation. All the Avengers showing up at Hawkeye’s farm for traditional disfunctional family Christmas. And the chaos ensues.
How the Grinch Stole Christmas is a holiday classic that would be improved with the Avengers in it. The Hulk is transformed into the Grinch and is out of control in Whoville. He is smashing through homes and stealing presents. The Avengers (such as Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow, Hawkeye) come and save Christmas by returning the Hulk into Bruce Banner with the help of Cindy Loo Who.
Home Alone really could use the Avengers help.
Jack Frost could use some help from the Avengers
How the Grinch stole Christmas could have the Avengers save the day.
It’s a Wonderful Life could use a few Avengers
White Christmas could use an Avenger or two
I would say scrooge could use avengers in the movie. Where it would be the avengers being the spirits of Christmas. Where the spirits are past, present, & future adding some action scenes throughout the movie.
Die Hard with Thanos as Hans Gruber and John McClane is Iron Man
For my middle son; big Avengers fan! Working two jobs trying to make ends meet and pay off student loans. He would never think he has the money to buy one and would be so surprised to have one.
A Christmas Carol could do with an Avenger or Two in the movie
In Elf, Phil Coulson could replace Walter and with his electronic hand he could improve the functioning of the mail room and help Elf with the decorations. He is kind enough to fit into the family and yet has super powers.
The original frosty the snowman they can teach frosty a lesson lol
I believe the Hulk would have been helpful in Home Alone. Would have stopped the Wet Bandits slightly faster.
Elf could use some friends to spread Christmas cheer , the Avengers choir singing loud for all to here!
Die hard would be my vote lol
Wouldn’t it be a “Wonderful Life” if the Avengers were helping Jimmy Stewart out!
Captain America and John McClane Die Hard team-up that happens on Christmas Eve. The Red Skull and Hans Gruber hijack the United Nations and demand a billion dollar ransom for freeing the free world’s leaders. The explosive finale takes place at Rockefeller Plaza, where the good guys win of course. Merry Christmas.
