Advanced technology for gaming greatness

Every semi-pro gamer and casual weekend warrior knows the benefits of adding a gaming monitor to their station. And LG are experts at delivering the advanced technology you need to optimize the graphics-intensive games you love to play. Take this LG 27UD59P monitor for example. Jacob McCourt reviewed this monitor for Best Buy Canada, and he was impressed with how the 4K resolution showcased graphics with astounding attention to detail, as well as the way FreeSync technology eliminated GPU artifacting and screen tearing. He also noted how the Black Stabiliser feature enhanced contrast and provided greater definition in darker scenes.

Standing with a depth of just 8″, and sporting a minimalist design, this discreet monitor blends seamlessly with almost any living room, den, bedroom, or home office, and its compact footprint requires little desk space while still offering 27″ of Ultra HD real estate to feast your eyes on. Designed for work as well as play, you can effortlessly rotate the display between portrait and landscape modes, which is ideal for tasks such as computer programming, web editing, and blogging.

  1. I would connect it to a Nintendo Switch purely for it’s capabilities and also its small footprint since anything bigger would make my already small space feel smaller and more clutter. And with it being VESA compatible, i can keep things on the wall and the switch on a small shelf behind it or close, meaning it wouldn’t even have to sit on anything like a table or such, so that helps.

  2. HP Gaming PC (Intel Core i5-8400/1TB HDD/256GB SSD/12GB RAM/NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti/Win 10). Look like a great unit.

  3. I would connect this monitor to the Dell Gaming PC Intel i7-8700/1TB HDD/256GB SSD/16GB RAM/NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070/Windows 10. For online gaming it would be the best.

  4. ASUS ROG Strix or any other tower that is capable of 4k res.
No sense having a 4K monitor with something that doesn’t run 4k!

  5. ASUS ROG Zephyrus GX501 15.6″ Gaming Laptop (Intel Core i7-7700HQ/512GB SSD/16GB RAM/Win10) because I enjoyed imagining I could afford a $3K laptop for a few seconds there.

  6. I will connect this display to the i7, 6-core MacBook Pro (using the proper adapters, of course) model MR972LL/A.
The precise colour would be an asset while processing photos and editing video!

  7. I would connect it to the ASUS ROG Strix Call of Duty Gaming PC(Intel Core i7/2TB HDD/256GB SSD/16GB RAM/GeForce RTX 2080)-Eng, this would be the ultimate gaming setup and make me go back to PC gaming.

  8. I would have to hook up my PS4 to this monitor which is still just small enough that I can use it at my desk and my family will think I’m working… Right? 😀

  9. As a developer this monitor would be amazing to view the code in portrait. But apart from that the VersusPower running the 8700K would be amazing. That processor would be perfect for developing but also gaming. This monitor would make full of the freesync with the rx580. Though the card is old, it’s good enough for the games I play.

  10. I would connect my home desktop to this monitor as i have the graphics card to view 4k but my monitors currently only support 1080 – would be well worth the upgrade.

  11. I would connect my nintendo switch! I don’t currently own any extrnal monitor and connecting my nintendo switch for gaming and macbook pro for productivity would be really helpful for my daily activities.

  12. I’d connect an HP Pavilion Desktop PC to the LG 27UD59P monitor to replace my almost 10 year old Dell Vostro 200. It would be great to have some speed to open pages and go to websites.

  13. I’d connect the ASUS ROG Strix Gaming PC! With a 1 TB hard drive, a 128GB M.2 solid state drive and 8 USB ports, it would be a major upgrade from my current ASUS computer, which has been quite reliable and satisfactory, but I’d love to have a faster computer with more USB ports.

  14. Asus ROG Strix gaming rig!
This would be an amazing addition to my gaming setup. It would be nice if I have an AMD GPU to take advantage of the freesync.

  15. I would pick the New! Dell XPS Gaming 7760 AIO- 27″ 4K UHD – AMD RX 470- i7-7700 – 16GB RAM – 32GB SSD + 2TB HD -WIN1 – I love the all in one

  16. MSI GT75 8RG-099CA TITAN Fast, capable and won’t burn a hole in your table when the going gets tough!

  17. MSI GT75 8RG-099CA TITAN. Fast, good connection and won’t melt a hole in your table when the going gets tough.

  18. I’d connect a dell Alienware Area 51 gaming pc – would be great to have this amazing screen for the graphics!
