An Amazon Kindle makes reading easier, anywhere. With a Kindle in your hand, the simple, wonderful experience of reading from a book is amplified due to enhanced simplicity, and a more thorough reading experience. You’ll read more often, in more places.  Enter for a chance to experience this yourself with the all-new Kindle.

Kindle changed reading forever

There were ereaders prior to 2007, but when the first Kindle was released that year reading was transformed. It was, and still is, light enough to hold in your hand for hours, easy to use, capable of holding a lot of books (thousands in today’s version), and versatile. Not only could you get the newest blockbuster, you could load it up with classics, with magazines, and more. Additionally, you could quickly look up unfamiliar words right on the device, and keep reading with a more thorough understanding.

Books are nice to have, but you can do a whole lot more with a Kindle. The all-new Kindle is aptly named. Use it anywhere—even in the dark thanks to its LED lit screen. It will “light a fire” within you to explore more literature than ever. We sent this ereader to Ted Kritsonis for his unbiased opinion. Watch his video review of the device, then read how to enter this contest for your chance to win the all-new Kindle.

  1. I read about 1-2 books a month, time permitting. The Kindle makes it easier to access more books because it can store so many books and makes them so readily available.

    • I read about 3 books a month. I would up it to 4 or t as I would read in more places.

  2. I read 1-3 books a month and I read a ton of magazines (well I did until Texture was ruined)

  3. I read sometimes 1 book a month. But with a kindle and e-ink. I’ll definitely read at LEAST 1 book a month!

  4. I’m reading maybe 1 or 2 per month. I would love to be able to win and bump that number up to 3-4 with a kindle having all my books in one place.

  5. I read pretty often, about 3 or 5 books a month. I would like to be able to win this and have all my books in one place. The E ink tech is also amazing and would hopefully bring me to be able to read 6-9 books a month!

  6. I recently just started reading more and often found myself reading on my phone screen. Even with that, I’m reading maybe 2-3 per month. I would love to be able to win and bump that number up to 4-5 with removing some strain on my eyes!

  7. I currently read two to three books a month, but with the eReader, my commute time will be that much more productive.
I’ll probably at least double my current volume.

  8. Reading gets me to my happy place. I read every night before falling asleep. I guess that would equate to about 2-3 books per month. Having a kindle means I won’t drop the book on my face when I doze off. Believe it or not it happens a lot! Also because of the backlight I can avoid losing my sleep mojo because of pesky night side lights.

  9. I read than less than one book a month, but with the Kindle I’d hope to get back into reading and be back up to 3 books a month.

  10. I currently read about 2 books a month. If I win I would read about two or three it would make it alot easier to carry around also.

  11. I currently read one book per month, but with Kindle’s added convenience, I hope to read more – Goal is 1 per week.

  12. I try to read two books a month. With the Kindle ereader that would definitely increase to three or dare I say, four!

  13. 0 is the amount of books I read a month; I’m hoping the kindle will change that to 2 and even more in the future.

  14. I read around 2 books a month. But that mostly out of budget and practicality, a kindle would probably double that number.

  15. I try to read 1 or 2 books a month. I think I would continue reading that many with the new Kindle.

  16. I usually read 2 books a month and would read more if I had a Kindle. I need to move on to reading digital – it would take less space required in my suitcase when I travel.

  17. Currently I read 1, but I listen to audiobooks on my drive home… if I won that it might still be one. Lol

  18. Currently I read about 1-2 books a month, mostly on the train. Winning the prize would make it a bit easier to read, particularly on crowded trains so I’d hopefully get to maybe 2-3 a month.

  19. I currently read 2 or 3 books each month and I don’t think that will change if I win this prize because of time restraints..

  20. I have been reading 0 books per month. I expect I would read 1-2 books per month with the kindle reader

  21. I currently read zero books a month. If I had a kindle, I would start reading at least 1 book a month.

  22. I cute rly read one month a month. With the Amazon kindle I’d read 2-3 books. The idea of having multiple books at you fingertips. I imagine going in a trip and only having to carry the one “book” would be such a convenience.

  23. I usually read one or two books a month. I would probably read the same if I had a kindle, but it would be more convenient

  24. I’m a kindle unlimited reader, so about 3-4 month, with a new reader maybe it’d go up to 5.

  25. I currently read 2 books each month (typically physical books from the library). With the portability of this Kindle e-reader, I think I will be able to read 3-4 books a month if I win this prize.

  26. I read about one book a month but if i had this device i would easily be able to double that with how easy to transport the kindle is

  27. I am an avid reader & read 2-3 books per week. Ditching my television was the best thing I could do for my brain pan!

Books are very expensive, the library is too far for my broken back to walk to and the lending library in my apartment building is too full of horrid romance novels.

Owning a kindle would allow me to read even more books and at lower prices.

  28. I usually try to get at least 2 books read in a month. Having a Kindle Reader would make this easier so I don’t have to go to the library physically to sign out books, it can all be done throught the Reader.
