Kindle changed reading forever

There were ereaders prior to 2007, but when the first Kindle was released that year reading was transformed.   3. I read everyday. I have a old kindle that I love but I know it’s wearing out. I usually read about 6 books s monthly. So with a new kindle it would probably be more like 8.

  4. I currently read a book a week. With a new Kindle, it would certainly be motivation to up my game.

  6. Currently I read about one book per month. I think I would be able to improve that to two books per month with the new Kindle.

  7. I’m a reader, in fact I’m addicted. I usually read about 5 or 6 books a month. This kindle would certainly help, since books weigh such a lot when I’m flying it’s always a problem.

    • Forgot to say how many I’d read with a kindle, that would up the number no doubt probably to 7 or 8 I should think. 🙂

    Currently, I’m embarrassed to say I don’t read any books (even though I actually DO have several that I have had for years that I have wanted to, but just haven’t taken the time to open and take the time to read). Probably due to the distraction of the “electronics” around me of course (unfortunately)

    If I WERE to win this awesome ereader…….I know I WOULD read more……because unlike a “paper” book, i can read this anywhere….anytime……..like sitting out under the stars at night, enjoying fresh air in the dark with a dimly lit screen….or while travelling and not having to take bulky books with me, etc.

    How many would I read though? That I don’t know for sure….but definitely more than I do now, which is “zero” of course 🙂 And I would actually look forward to it again…..:)

  37. I read zero books a month but our son reads at least 10. I would gift it to him and he would read even more!

  38. I currently read 0.5 books each month, but if I win this prize I think I will read about 0.75 books each month!

  45. I usually read 1 book in a month sometimes even lesser. I read books in the transit or before going to bed and I find it difficult to hold the book in one hand end up skip reading. The kindle would definitely help me in improving my reading habbit.

  48. i’m usually reading several books at once, so having them all in one device
    makes it so much easier.
    I don’t really know how many i read in a month maybe 5, i also like to
    listen to audiobooks when i don’t feel like reading.
    i would be able to take all the books i’m reading with me to read at
    appointments, etc.
    how many more books would i read? 8.
