What are you looking for in a dash cam?
I personally don’t own a dash cam. It’s not that I don’t care about the advantages they offer, I just haven’t got around to buying one yet. But if I was, I would want something in the middle of the Nextbase series: probably a 322GW or 422GW. Perhaps it’s that the review done by Dave Neufeld was extremely persuasive? Or somehow it resonated with me in a way the other Nextbase articles have not. After all, I think all the writers did a great job examining the different models and clearly explaining what they liked and did not like about each: pros and cons. I think what is more likely is that I just like the 422GW most because I feel it’s right for me in a way that I can’t quite explain.
Nextbase keeps raising the bar on what a dash cam can do
Not that I am averse to perfection. I have not seen the new model that was just announced today, the 622GW; nor have I sent it for review—Nextbase haven’t sent me samples yet. But judging from the specifications and features, it is a step above the rest. The features include an impressively clear 4K image at 30 fps, image stabilization, and Amazon Alexa built in. I love that if you are involved in an accident, this dash cam will register the most recent footage as high priority and not let it get recorded over.

I like the 222, it’s got the basics. Probably won’t use some of the features in the high end models.
I like easy to use technology and the Nextbase 422GW’s large screen would help with that.

The 622GW model would suit me. I like the night vision feature and stabilization as well as the 4K.
the 322 works for me because I don’t need top of the line but good quality. I also want my dashcam to turn on automatically.

The important features for me are picture quality, the temperature range in which the camera can operate (especially here in Canada), the ease of use and the ability to add a rear camera. The Nextbase 322GW Full HD 1080p Dash Cam w/rear window cam, carry case and hardware kit would be my choice!
As my husband is a trucker and often drives the mountains in all kinds of weather I like the sos feature in the 522 and also the night vision feature but I think the new 622 pips it with the added adverse weather tech features I think he would find that invaluable
