The Best Buy Tech Wonderland is going online. Join us on December 12 at 6PM PST for our virtual drive-through holiday spectacular.

Best Buy created a holiday experience celebrating the magic of the season, The Best Buy Tech Wonderland, where holiday tradition meets modern technology. Taking place on the grounds of the PNE in Vancouver, BC, in late November visitors and a carload of family / members of your household unit would take a magical guided tour featuring incredible displays, classic holiday tunes, epic eats, fun contests, and so much more.

We are grateful to many organizations that helped to make this event memorable including Canada Place at the Port of Vancouver for lending the Woodward boxes and The Big Steel Boxes for supplying shipping containers used in the onsite displays.

Also we want to thank our tech sponsors, especially Sony, Google, and Xbox, for contributing to the event and supplying some of the prizes for our contests.

Best Buy Tech Wonderland Contest Information

Best Buy had two contests planned associated with Best Buy’s Tech Wonderland. The first contest is now over and the winners will be selected in accordance with the rules and regulations for that contest (shown here).

The second contest begins on Dec 12 at 6 PM (PST). Read on for details about this amazing opportunity and to see the fantastic virtual event created by Best Buy.

Visit the virtual drive-through holiday spectacular, enjoy the virtual Tech Wonderland tour, then enter this contest for a chance to win one of twenty amazing prizes.

How to enter

Entering is easy but participants can only enter once by placing a comment either on the Best Buy Canada Facebook post for this event, or in an email as explained here:

1. Facebook: Visit the Virtual Tech Wonderland event on Best Buy Canada’s Facebook page and leave a comment on the Facebook post telling us the six (6) locations where you saw Techie the Blue Shirt Elf during the video drive through and include the hashtag: #BestBuyTechWonderland; OR
2. By Email: Visit the Virtual Tech Wonderland event on Best Buy Canada’s Facebook page and send an email to bestbuyblog@bestbuycanada.ca with “Virtual Tech Wonderland Contest” in the subject line and tell us six (6) locations where you saw Techie the Blue Shirt Elf during the virtual drive through.

What they can win

At the end of this contest, we will randomly select twenty (20) eligible entries to each receive one of the twenty (20) prizes available to be won:
