Best Buy Canada employees visit Father Henri Voisin Elementary School, one of the winners of Best Buy School Tech Grants.

We’re thrilled to announce the recent winners of Best Buy’s School Tech Grants. Fourteen elementary schools across Canada will each receive up to $10,000 in funding to bring new technology into their classrooms. Schools can use the grants to create dynamic, tech-ready learning environments to keep students inspired while they learn and grow.

The School Tech Grants has three categories. The general School Tech Grant provides up to $10,000 to help schools upgrade classroom technology and improve student learning. The $5,000 eSports Grant supports schools that want to establish or expand their eSports program by funding gaming consoles, computers, software, and related equipment. And, one school will receive a Google Chromebook Package, which includes a classroom set of Chromebooks worth $10,000 to enhance students’ access to Google’s latest technology.
