ultima Cosa Air Fryer contestUltima Cosa air fryers are surely on everyone’s gift lists this holiday season. I have an air fryer, so I know first-hand how awesome they are. And I know many people who do not have an air fryer but want one. Do you know someone who would love an air fryer. Enter this contest and you might win one of the three different types of air fryers that we are giving away.

Why is an air fryer a popular gift

Make your list and check it twice (as the saying goes) and make sure at least one person is getting an air fryer. Perhaps that person is your sister, or your mom … or perhaps it’s you. There are very good reasons why air fryers are the most sought after small appliance gift. They cook fast, use less energy, and use less oil than other forms of frying. They can do much more than just fry foods too. I have cooked danishes! Yes, homemade custard filled danishes that tasted amazing. My favourite, though, is bacon. It turns out crisp with no mess: it’s all contained within the air fryer. Lastly, cleanup is amazingly easy and quick too.

I have been using an air fryer for over a year. There is not a week that goes by that I don’t use it for something. However, it’s when preparing dinners for family and friends that I turn to the air fryer even more. This versatile appliance frees up space in my larger oven so that more items are cooked simultaneously and the whole meal comes together more seamlessly. My wife loves air fryer roasted Brussels sprouts!

Beyond the usefulness of an air fryer, there is one more reason why it’s a popular gift. It’s the kind of gift that you know will be appreciated—and knowing that is a great stress relief. Many people find the gift exchange a challenge and at least a little stressful. It’s great to have default gifts that you know will be well received by almost anyone: an air fryer is one of those defaults this year.

How to select the right air fryer

Best Buy carries a large selection of air fryers and you might wonder which one you should purchase. There are a few things you should consider before buying one. Price is important and air fryers are all reasonably priced. Factors which affect the price includes size and features beyond just air frying (like an oven that is also a microwave). Air fryers come in a variety of sizes and styles. A smaller air fryer is great for individuals or couples. For larger families, I recommend either a large air fryer or a double air fryer enabling you to simultaneously cook two different items, at different temperatures. For this contest we have three different Ultima Cosa styles and sizes of air fryers as prizes. We sent samples of these air fryers for a review on the blog. This contest runs from Nov 17th until Dec 5th.

Remember that you can enter in two different ways as described above. Tell friends and family to enter too, especially if you expect to be on their gift list: a gentle suggestion about items that you would like to receive may be just what they need to reduce their stress at this time of year.

  1. Great Xmas Gift For my Daughter & Family to Find under the tree This Xmas Day. I Have one & Love it. Thank You Best Buy For The Great Giveaway.

  2. My son Robert would LOVE this…he loves to cook and eat even more!! LOL….This would be a great asset in our kitchen! Thank you!!

  3. The person who would love this is Emily. She is a foodie. She would love the 2 baskets so all the food cooks together and ready at the same time. For savoury I’d make onion rings – less oil, YAY! fOR SWEET s’mores!

  4. For Andrew and he would love the programmable feature…but most of all, having his own unit so he won’t have to share an air fryer with my parents who borrows ours from time to time

  5. I’d love to gift myself an air fryer. It would be my first time using one and I’m sure I’d appreciate preparing healthy home cooked meals. Seems so versatile and easy clean-up too.

  6. 1- My daughter Gisele would love the double baskets air fryer for her large family and that it uses less energy & less oil for healthier living.

  7. I’d love to win this for my husband, Zig. Our last air fryer broke and he hasn’t stopped talking about it (can’t blame him!) We both love how fast it cooks things like bacon and chicken wings, but we also love that it frees up the oven when cooking big meals. An air fryer is a MUST!

  8. My younger brother Tim. I think for someone like him who is just learning to be independent in cooking for himself, the airfryer would be a good tool for him to start out and create his own flavours. I like that it’s has pre-programmed settings/modes to let you know the settings/temperature to have an idea how long to cook

  9. I/Em would like to win this for myself, to try out for myself, how quick and easy this is, and learn first hand any other benefits.

  10. The person on my gift list for an air fryer would be my mother Jean. I think she would really love every feature, considering she doesn’t have one. A daily transition from using the oven everyday to a more easy at use appliance like an air fryer will limit her everyday use at the stove top.

  11. Rhonda has her hands full looking after her mother and my son so she would truly appreciate the time saver air fryer

  12. Mark is on my list for this and he would love it because it will help him cook foods with less oil as he is always looking to cook healthier

  13. My mom would love this gift for Christmas because she is trying to eat healthier and an air fryer will let her use less oil.

  14. My husband Gordon would love this air fryer. He is always commenting on how we could have made our dinner so easily and with delicious and healthy results if we only had an air fryer!

  15. The person on my list that would benefit from this is Toni. She would love the ability to make a quick supper for her and our son, Spencer. Toni is in her last year of an advanced nursing degree, works two jobs and still finds time to cook. Spencer would love to be able to help her out with meals he can have ready for her as well.

  16. My wife, Ann would love an air fryer because there is never enough room in the oven for all the dishes that need to be cooked for family get togethers. She would also appreciate the fact that they use less energy.

  17. i would give the Air Fryer to my good friend Scottie. I think he would really enjoy using it and he would like that its quick and easy and programmable .

  18. The person on my Christmas list is Bruno. I think he’d appreciate that it is programmable, so no need to watch. Maybe he can do a load of laundry while he waits. 😉 If I won this, I’d like to make Parmesan smashed potatoes that everyone is making. YUM! For sweet I’d LOVE to make air fried OREOS! Enter drool!

  19. The person on my list who would love an air fryer for Christmas is Jason. I think he’d appreciate an air fryer with double baskets because it’s really nice to have all your food ready at the same time. It’s very cool that you have a few cooking options methods too!

  20. Our mother, K.J., would definitely like a air fryer. I think the feature that she would like the most is the large capacity on the Ultima Cosa Dual Digital Air Fryer 8L model. Our mother hates being limited by smaller pot and pan designs when she is cooking.
