Perks of the KitchenAid Espresso Machine

KitchenAid Espresso MachineThere are quite a few things about the KitchenAid Espresso Machine that I love. Its sleek black and silver design easily blends into any kitchen décor, and it won’t take up too much counter space either. The portafilter is sturdy and durable and all removable parts are quick and easy to wash after use.

Not only can you make your favourite espresso, but its versatility allows you to make a variety of drinks for anyone in your home. My son loved steaming milk for hot chocolate, and according to him, hot chocolate is superior this way.

The KitchenAid Espresso Machine is user friendly

KitchenAid espressoWith the right machine, it doesn’t take much time to make a delicious espresso or other hot drink at home. People might think it’s easier and time-saving to hit up the local coffee drive-thru on the way to your destination, but I’m here to tell you that’s not the case.

The KitchenAid Espresso Machine heats up in 45 seconds or less. Using it is as easy as locking in the portafilter, choosing 1 shot or 2 and hitting start. If you want to add your steamed milk of choice, you can quickly do that with the attached steam wand. There’s also an included recipe card for all your favourite espresso drinks from iced coffees to lattes and many more.

Easy clean-up is a huge perk in any small appliance. I was impressed with how quick and easy the espresso machine was to clean. It runs a self-clean after each use and all you have to do is wash out the drip tray when the red light indicates it’s full. On top of that, it’s as easy as washing out the portafilter and milk jug if you use it, and then wiping down the steam wand.

KitchenAid makes amazing coffee at home

KitchenAid Espresso Machine inside the boxWhile it’s nice to treat yourself to a coffee out with friends, it’s even better being able to make one at home whenever you please. I love making my own lattes at home for a few reasons. I can use my favourite milk alternative, choose my sweetener, and make it my perfect temperature. The bonus is that I spend less on coffee too.

This espresso machine is also great to have when you’re entertaining. My mother-in-law always looks forward to a latte or 5 when she visits, and I love being able to serve my guests a personalized drink of their choice.
