oculus quest 2 untethered gamingAn Oculus Quest 2 is real entertainment like you’ve never experienced before. Whether it’s watching a movie, playing a game, or exploring a new travel destination, you will not believe how close you get to being part of the action. This is definitely one of the hottest entertainment/gaming devices of the year, and we are very happy to be able to offer two as prizes in this contest.

Oculus Quest 2 is virtual reality with no strings attached

Finally VR has become what we all thought it was to begin with. You see, VR promised to allow us to feel like we are in a different place or time. Some do this better than others, and some, like the original Oculus, have been quite amazing. However, it’s hard to totally immerse yourself in a game or movie when an attached cable keeps tugging you back to the real world. That’s one of the immediate advantages of the Oculus Quest 2: with no tether, no attached cable, you quickly lose yourself—the virtual environment essentially becomes the real world for you!

  1. I bought one for myself, my nieces and nephews came over and now are asking my brother for for Christmas! I would love to win so i could give it to them as a gift!!

  2. I used to own an Oculus Rift until it finally went out. What I love about this one though is there’s no sensors to worry about and the fact that I can not only play games untethered, I can also hook up and play the games I own for Rift on the PC!

This is definitely a plus for me since I own quite a few and would love to be able to play them again. I will be using it for gaming for sure!

  3. I love the fact it has hand tracking, I will use it to play after my shifts on the military, play games, watch movies and meet friends from across the world.

  4. I have never had an experience quite like the oculus. I felt like I was in a different universe in every single game I played. An awesome way to spend time with friends and family.

  5. I can tell that the quest 2 has a better screen than the first one. I want one to give to a friend, since we can’t hang out much right now.

  6. I think the Oculus Quest 2 opens the doors to so many gamers and tech lovers alike. It makes virtual reality easily accessible and affordable for people who would otherwise not consider entering the world of VR. I would love to share my Quest 2 experience with my twitch and YouTube community by streaming with it and making a video showcasing it. Thank you for your consideration.

  7. I love how it is it’s own wireless console,I would love to be able to enjoy the games it offers with friends and convince them to get one of there own

  8. (BTW it said I already posted a comment but I dont remember posting one so if you see another one like this its an honest mistake) The Oculus Quest 2 is just a perfect system for the price. It is basically a perfect system not just for gaming but for watching movies, videos etc. Also love how realistic it is with the amount of pixels it has compared to the original Oculus Quest. I believe that this system is the beginning of better technology becoming cheaper as it becomes more widely available. I will mostly to connect with friends through games and use it to just chill and escape from the world into my own little world with the Quest 2

  9. Quest 2 has a lighter build, better strap management and I love that it has oculus link which should decrease the latencies a lot compared to wireless. I will use it for both gaming and to watch movies and stuff on different streaming services.

  10. The Oculus Quest 2 is just a perfect system for the price. • A cool thing I find about the oculus is that it’s wireless and there’s the guidance system that shows you the boundaries and when you pass them. Those features are really are pretty useful for my little brother who is a bit energetic; and this would be a great way for him to use some of that crazy energy.

  11. i love how freeing and immersive the headset would be, no wires no cables. nothing, just you and the headset. my older brother has been NON-STOP wanting one since it came out/ released and my Family hasn’t had the income to buy one for him. he was diagnosed with depression a few weeks ago and it just makes me think of ways to cheer him up. so i thought a VR headset for Christmas would be the best, and could help him just forget about the problems in the world and just let go. not for me, but for him.

  12. I’d use it to play with my son. His mother and I just bought one he can take back on forth between out houses and it’d be a great way to connect with him more. What’s great about it (so far) is the ease of set up the fun controls and how easy it is to get into. I can’t wait to try out the games more and with the ability to tether to a PC, to explore even more games.

  13. What I love most about the Oculus Quest 2 is that the controllers transports my movements directly into VR! I would use this for gaming hands down!

  14. VR is something I have always wanted to test out. From the reviews I have read, the oculus quest 2 seems like a great stand a long yet PC capable headset.

  15. The Oculus Quest 2 will change the way we communicate and associate with each other. Now that the cost has become affordable for most who don’t mind having their Facebook account linked to their gaming and pleasure time will enjoy a new way of living. Creating an avatar of yourself and entering a world of learning and socializing with others allows people the chance to experience the wonders of the internet for entertainment or research in a whole new way. What a fantastic world we are blessed to be living in. If I were given the opportunity to own an Oculus Quest 2 I would explore it to it’s fullest potential and tell everyone I can what interesting things I discover.

  16. The Oculus Quest 2 is great because it is stand-alone without cables. I would use it for Movies and games. PSVR has wires and is heavy on the head.

  17. Vr is the future i like that its a stand alone system i haven’t tried one yet but hopefully soon its somthibg my kids and i can both enjoy

  18. I love the versatility of it being able to be a pc vr and standalone vr headset.
And I would use it for gaming

  19. My kids got a taste of VR gaming when their techy uncle brought his stuff over. I want to give them that same experience but with more accessibility and ease. The Quest 2 seems like a great option without the commitment of a huge expensive PC gaming system but with a similar experience.

  20. The freedom to play without wires. Immersion rises to the next level when you are free to move around without cords

  21. The oculus quest looks and most of all “feels” really good for me for one I would u it for my channel and 2 I would use it for our enjoyment and ext, I would finally be able to join my friends on vr.

  22. I didn’t even know there was a built in sound system! Would definitely use for gaming! Thanks for all the information!!!!

  23. Oculus Quest 2 is going to be the first VR system I have ever bought and I am really excited. Currently I have played a few times on a friend’s system. Favorite games so far have been the walking dead game saints and sinners I believe and Vader Immortal. Acton attack of the squirrels Is another amazing game that is a multiplayer game. These games will be my first purchases when I get one.

  24. OMIGOSH, wireless?! Yes please! Thus would be so amazing to use in the (already crowded) living room!

  25. I would love to have the Oculus Quest because I would love to bring it to my father and all the people in the home he is living in, since my mom passed away a few months ago. Please help me to bring joy and entertainment for people who needs it the most these days! I know that Oculus Quest is for everybody and elderly people can enjoy it too!! 🙂

  26. The Oculus Quest is something our whole family would use for both gaming and movies. It’s number one on our wish list!

  27. I’ve played around with the original oculus quest a bit and it’s a great system for gaming. If I won the oculus quest 2 I’d use it for games and movies

  28. I have been a huge fan of the Virtual Reality and what is in store for VR in the future. I am very excited to share my love for video games and VR with my kids and my wife. I think there are so many opportunities for educational and explorative opportunities that VR allows. Being able to travel virtually to different places and see new and exciting places is amazing, especially with everything going on right now. The Quest can give these opportunities to our families without feeling tied down to a computer or getting wrapped up in cords, this gives them the most immersive experience available now.
