oculus quest 2 untethered gamingAn Oculus Quest 2 is real entertainment like you’ve never experienced before. Whether it’s watching a movie, playing a game, or exploring a new travel destination, you will not believe how close you get to being part of the action. This is definitely one of the hottest entertainment/gaming devices of the year, and we are very happy to be able to offer two as prizes in this contest.

Oculus Quest 2 is virtual reality with no strings attached

Finally VR has become what we all thought it was to begin with. You see, VR promised to allow us to feel like we are in a different place or time. Some do this better than others, and some, like the original Oculus, have been quite amazing. However, it’s hard to totally immerse yourself in a game or movie when an attached cable keeps tugging you back to the real world. That’s one of the immediate advantages of the Oculus Quest 2: with no tether, no attached cable, you quickly lose yourself—the virtual environment essentially becomes the real world for you!

  3. I love how affordable this headset is and how you don’t need any additional hardware to use it. I would love to get it for my brother for Christmas as I have the original and it would be really fun to play multiplayer games with him.

  4. I’ve been following vr since Oculus DK1, they come a long. I would love to start my VR jounery with quest 2 deveopling and playing my games for VR in Unity.

  6. The oculus quest 2 looks amazing , having no cables to play VR seems like a dream! Would love to play some beat saber on it !

  7. Being completely free of wires with the pure escapism that comes with VR. Such a great way to just forget about our daily troubles even if it’s just for a little bit as well as connect with friends in a joined media, by watching movies together safely or just jamming out to a game or music.

  8. What I love most about the Oculus Quest 2 is that the controllers transports my movements directly into VR! I would use this for gaming and for watching movies

  9. The kids and I love VR. Having the freedom to use the Oculus Quest 2 anywhere, without cables would be awesome – like playing games in the living room, without being tethered to the computer. And with the Oculus Link cable, we’d still be able to play all Oculus Rift titles.

  10. I like it do due it’s all in one capability and it’s rather decent price. I also believe pretty soon these will be good for productivity in a office/work environment.

  11. I love that this Quest has the option to be untethered or tethered and use it with a gaming pc – I will use it for gaming and untethered games.

  12. I like the fact that u can use it with and without a pc, my pc currently can’t handle vr but if I upgrade it it will be able to. I’m going to use if for gaming and movies. I’m mostly going to play VRchat and Beat Saber, Superhot and Blades and Sorcery.

  13. I think the oculus quest 2 is amazing! I love that it can do both standalone games and can do PC VR over a link cable. And it can even do wireless VR over WiFi 6, which is incredible! I would probably use it most for playing beat saber or VRchat. I will probably also try out star wars squadrons to finally get some use out of my joysticks and use it as a display for watching movies too.

  14. I really love the increased resolution and the diminished screen door effect, I love my oculus but I’d love to be able to read text without getting close to it. I would use it for gaming mostly but with Virtual Desktop I think it would be really handy for productivity with multiple monitors that I could actually read

  15. I like that the Oculus quest 2 is standalone. I would use mostly for gaming but definitely for movies and shows too!

  16. Oculus 2 is correctly the only headset that allows you map a real world keyboard to a virtual keyboard, allowing a truely virtual working experience. I love it for that and so much more!

  17. For the price, its literally the best entry level vr that exists, people have been comparing the quest 2 too the vavle index and HTC vive! If that doesn’t scream buy me now, idk what does!!

  18. Both me & my daughter loved the oculus. We cant wait to have another one as we just take turns for gaming & watching documentaries.

  19. I love that the oculus quest 2 offers the simplest way for people to get together in virtual reality, during our current pandemic, in order to keep safe. It is easy to become isolated, especially for those who live alone or in a broken household. If I win I will gift this headset to a friend of mine who I think deserves it.

  20. Being cordless this system looks like the real deal for some surreal immersion into a different frame of mind.

  21. I really think that the oculus quest 2 is the best vr headset for your money and offers an incredible wireless experience without the compromises of most wireless headsets

  22. I never owned one before and would love to experience it for the very first time. I would want one for the games but I would use every aspect of it 🙂

  23. VR has SOOOO much potential to grow and the Oculus Quest 2 is definitely a step in the right direction! I have a budding video game designer in my family that I would love to push towards VR game design~ Winning something like this would just be the icing on the cake!

  24. I love the oculus quest 2 because I have been waiting years for a VR headset I could afford and finally it is here! I will use it to keep in touch with my three sons who have moved away. I asked them all the buy one and I would pay half but they haven’t got the money, so winning this would mean I get to speak to and hang out with at least one of my children! Which one would I give it to…..that is a secret….who do I love the best?

  25. I love that the Quest 2 offers both a great standalone VR experience, but I can also tether it to my PC via a Link cable and experience the power of PC VR.

  26. I love that it’s made VR so accessible and easy to use. I’m looking forward to useing it to play games that increase the immersion and interactivity.

  27. I’ve been eyeing the oculus rift since it came out for gaming but I have 4 daughters that I know would truly enjoy this system. Also I can for see the learning applications as well. I feel this would be a great tool in there development.

  28. I would love to win this for my brother. Covid has made all the volunteer place he had cancelled and its hard to find places that are open to autistic adults

  29. The best feature is that the Oculus Quest 2 can be used both standalone and with a PC. I have a few PC games that support VR. Would give VR a try and see how it works out.

  30. The Oculus 2 seems like a perfect toy to immerse in with my hubby, now that the pandemic has postponed our honeymoon until whenever…

  31. I love the fact that it is wireless but also the fact that the software has been updated to where you can link the Oculus Quest 2 to your pc and play VR games from the Rift and Steam. Plus the higher refresh rates and the improved tracking compared to the first one. I would love to have this so that I can finally play with my family instead of always playing by myself all the time. I mostly would use it for gaming but sometimes if I’m feeling a little depressed and need a change of scenery, I would use it for watching videos on it.

  32. This would be neat to win to watch movies on and experience vr games too. We don’t have many experience with vr stuff so it would be great to win something like this.

  33. I’d love to win the oculus quest 2 so I could play VR with my family. We’ve been wanting to try virtual reality for awhile

  34. I love the improvement in picture image and immersing experience of the oculus 2. I can’t wait to give it to my two boys for Christmas if I win! It will completely make their year cuz this isn’t something I would buy them (dads principles), and they don’t have to spend their savings!

  35. We would love to win an oculus because we play a lot of games and have never experienced virtual reality before. The oculus would be fun for us to keep us all interactive with new games and experiences.
