For the second year in the row, Best Buy is hosting the Life and Tech Wearable Expo and Fashion in Toronto Ontario. If you are in the vicinity of Yonge and Dundas Square on August 25th, visit the free event and have a great time learning about the newest fitness trackers, virtual reality headsets and more.

The truth is, wearable technology is here to stay! In just a few short years this technology has gone from niche tech to must-have tech. There are so many different types of these devices it is really hard to keep up. So having many of those devices in one place is a great way for you to try them all, compare them and decide which ones are perfect for your life.

That is really what life and tech is all about: discovering what tech is right for you.

Many of the top brands in wearable tech will be in attendance. You will be amazed at how far wearable tech has come. The event begins at 11 AM and continues until 9 PM. Come early so you have time to visit all of the booths and see the many demonstrations. Stay late so you don’t miss the evening fashion show featuring amazing stylish products that will hit stores soon. And don’t expect to leave empty handed either; visit the Best Buy “Pop up shop” on site where you can immediately purchase the tech you just discovered and become one of the first in the country to own the latest in wearable technology.

There will be much more than just wearables this year too.  Come experience the latest in virtual reality with demonstrations and advice so you can get started with VR right away. In addition, find the newest high-tech toys from cutting edge manufacturers like Spero, WowWee, Osmo and Spinmaster. Robot fun … life doesn’t get much better than that!

Last year thousands of people crowded the numerous booths at the expo to learn more about how wearable technology can fit into their lives. Many of the vendors also brought along experts to help explain how wearable tech can benefit your daily life. Best Buy will have people at the site as well to answer your questions. We will also have 2 bloggers in attendance, Leila Pejman and Paul Hunter, who will be recording the fun and reporting their observations in blog articles, pictures and video on the Best Buy Plug in blog after the event so the whole country can learn more about how our lives can benefit from the latest wearable tech.
