Star Wars Jedi Survivor, the next chapter of the Star Wars action-adventure series centered around Jedi Cal Kestis, is coming in 2023. The game is set to expand upon the iconic Star Wars stories, worlds, characters and combat and is being developed by Respawn Entertainment, the same team behind Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order.

Five years have passed since Jedi Fallen Order
Star Wars Jedi Survivor takes place five years after the events of Jedi Fallen Order. Cal, one of the last remaining Jedi in the galaxy, must stay one step ahead of the Empire’s constant pursuit as the daunting reality of loneliness sets in.
All is not lost though, Cal’s trusty companion BD-1 returns by his side to aid him on his journey. Throughout this journey, Cal meets and allies himself with an array of unique and interesting characters on his journey.
Rest assured, Respawn Entertainment has promised fans that Jedi Survivor will expand on the series’ dynamic combat in new and innovative ways. In order to survive, Cal must learn new skills and grow his connection with the Force.
Built leveraging the advance technology inside the current generation consoles
Stig Asmussen, the game’s director at Respawn already had a vision for Jedi Survivor while the team was working on Fallen Order. Working side by side with Lucasfilm Games, in order to achieve the vision, the team decided to make Jedi Survivor for current generation consoles and PC.
Star Wars Jedi Survivor will leverage the advanced technology in the Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC to create a deeper and more expansive Star Wars experience. As a result, Jedi Survivor will not be coming to PS4, Xbox One or Nintendo Switch. Additionally, Jedi Survivor will feature more dynamic Jedi combat and cinematic storytelling that will expand on Cal’s story.

I still need to play Jedi: Fallen Order, but this might be the kick that puts me in that direction.
