How to enter our Play at Best Buy contest

Entering this contest is easy and you can enter in two different ways:

  1. Browse Best Buy’s video games to explore the latest titles and gaming gear for every platform. Then, in a comment below, tell us which new game or gaming accessory available at Best Buy you are most excited about and why?
  2. Social post: For an additional entry, create a public social media post about your participation in the Play at Best Buy blog contest. Share the prize package you hope to win and the first game you would play if you won. Use the hashtag #PlayatBestBuyContest, include a picture from this contest page, and make sure your post is public. Then, comment below with the social media channel you used and your username or pseudonym for verification. You can use any social media channel (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.), but the post must be public so we can verify it is there.

What you can win

At the end of this contest, we will randomly draw 4 winners from all eligible entries posted on the blog (in English and French); each will receive one of the four prize packages listed here:

Gears of war series 1-4, I use to have an Xbox 360 and a Xbox one back in the day and when I first got into the systems my first video game series was gears of war 1 and that game blew off by far one of the best games back in the day the graphics were hard and amazing for the time and the gameplay was amazing as it was brutal as for the story it was really emerging and braught visuals that not a lot of games could in 2006 as well as details,characteristics, and the story plot as well through out the series

  19. I am so excited for Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door on the Nintendo switch. It’s such a classic game, I remember playing it on N64.

  20. Luigi’s mansion. My mom used to play it for us on Nintendo, and we’d all watch because we were too young to be able to actually beat the ghosts (and it was a little spooky too so just another reason she had to be there lol).

  21. I most look forward to Elden Ring because then I could surprise my son who has been dying to have it.

  26. I never had an Xbox and would love to play the Series X. The exclusives they have now are drawing me in, especially Starfield since sci-fi is my favorite genre. I would love to win the Xbox Series X package.

  29. My choice would be a Playstation 5, I haven’t had a Playstation since my PS2 died from over playing Gran Turismo. Having a PS5 would be amazing to get back into racing especially since Sony has a VR which would add another level of awesomeness.

  40. I’m most excited for the Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door for the Nintendo Switch. Previously played the other paper mario games, so I’m excited to see what additional changes they’ve added.

  42. Honestly, Elden Ring haha. I think I’m the last person alive who hasn’t played it. I didn’t even realize it existed for PS4. I love the enemies/monsters in the game, it’s gorgeous from what I’ve seen. And I’m a glutton for punishment.

  43. f1 24 with the Logitech G923 accessory package. Our household enjoys watching F1 and I have one of the older wheels for an older console and it does make a significant difference to how the game is played (significant enhancement to the experience).

  44. Paper Mario is on the top of my list as I have heard great things and it should be sweet continuation from my youth video games to share with the younger generation.

  48. I would love the meta quest.
    I am slowly building a PC, and would love to be able to utilize the quest with some of my designs, and 360 explorations
