Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. I’m actually really interested in Google’ stab at console performance with Stadia. With game releases under quite a few major companies like Ubisoft.
Just really fascinated how they’re going to bring an advanced gaming platform the Chrome browser and their other products!
I would like to hear from Xbox Game Studios and The Coalition about the upcoming Gears of War game called Gears 5. Can’t wait to play and see the continuation of the story. The first Xbox I got was just to play the original Gears of War game.
I’m very curious about Google’s Stadia announcement. Streaming has the potential to fundamentally change the industry, and google could bring resources necessary for it to work well – time will tell.
Excited to hear news on the Sony PS5 and updates for FFVII and Pokemon Sword/Shield. Hoping for something about Cyberpunk 77 to be at this years E3.
Halo infinite from 323 studios for Xbox 1! I’ve been waiting for a new halo for years and I’m very excited about the new one coming out this year love the halo franchise!!
I’m most excited for ID Software’s DOOM ETERNAL game for PC! The manufacturer/publisher is Bethesda, the title of the game is “DOOM ETERNAL” and this is important to me because DOOM 2016 is my favorite game and I really want to play the sequel. This is a video game for PC not the console. Good luck.
Nintendo’s Pokemon Sword and Shield because after lets go Pikahu and evee I’ve gotten back into the games so I am so down for the next in the series and the new games looks like a decent leap from their previous titles

There are 2 gaming announcements that have me excited for the remainder of 2019, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order and Wolfenstein Youngblood.
I am a huge Star Wars fan and have had mixed reviews of past games. I am very excited about what Respawn Entertainment is saying about this game and I like the direction they are taking the franchise.
I have played every Wolfenstein game since it was first released on PC. The franchise has come a long way and I love the gameplay in the NextGen titles. I am excited to see where Bethesda Software takes series with the introduction of B.J’s daughters.
I’m absolutely eager to play Boarderlands 3. Gearbox is finally giving us this game after years of blatantly obvious teasing and hinting at its creation and release. The other big thing to see at E3 this year for me is the Monster Hunter Worlds: Iceborne expansion. After playing hundreds of hours on the base content, I’m ready to face the new monsters!!
I’m very much looking forward to more info on Baldur’s gate 3. Honestly one of my favourite series of all time.
Without a doubt my biggest anticipated moment is an update by CD PROJEKT RED for Cyberpunk 2077. I am looking forward to a wide open game set in the future. The trailers and short gameplay walkthrough look amazing. What I am really hoping for is a release date!!!
I’m more than excited for Borderlands 3 from Gearbox, huge fan of the franchise and waiting for the release on September 13rd!
I am really exited about the announcement of the release date of the game The Last of Us part II by Naughty Dog. The first game has one of the most interesting and touching stories ever. I am sure the part II will be awesome. I can’t wait to play it!
Looking forward to seeing the new ps5. Interested in seeing what the jump is like from the ps4 and the capabilities as well as the improvements for the psvr.
At E3 I’m looking forward to basically everything! But the thing I’m most exited about are the Nintendo switch games Mario maker 2, Luigi’s Manson 3 and hopefully the 2nd DLC fighter for super smash bros ultimate

I still haven’t had a chance to get a PS4 yet! And so many games I want to play when I get one…Kingdom Hearts 3, Final Fantasy XV and don’t even get me started on Final Fantasy VII remake!

I am most excited to see if there will be more gameplay for Borderlands 3 from 2K at the E3 event. Already pre-ordered and looking forward to the release on Playstation 4.
Any Nintendo announcement regarding the Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening. I never got to play it when I was younger so this remake is will be great for me!
I enjoyed reading Jon Scarrs blog. There are so many games to look forward too but I am especially excited for halo infinite. The less I know about it the better.

I am excited for the new Halo Infinity by 343 Industry, ever since my older brother introduced me to Halo before he passed away, I’ve been keeping up tradion on buying every Halo game that comes out! Also for the Star Wars Jedi: Falling Order new game, my brother took me to see Star Wars when I was younger!
Well, excited about the Pokémon Sword and Shield that Nintendo will be releasing in November 2019, giving me a chance to get more familiar with some of the other
Pokémon games. So that when my granddaughters come to visit with the games and console, at least grandma will not lose as badly in the game with them. Not to mention know the names of the characters instead of calling them by their colour and shape, lol. Even thou grandma has no clue what she is doing makes it so much fun and memorable.
Looking forward to information on Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls 6. Information on next gen consoles.
Death Stranding. Made my skin tingle in a way it hadn’t in a while. Looks positively amazing.
I am excited about the PS5, my kids love hearing about how the 1st console hubby and I bought together was a playstation and how we used to stay up into the wee hours of the morning playing. We still have it, just not hooked up. It would be great to play playstation games on a newer model as a familiy!
Im super super super excited for last of us part 2. Just the trailers alone gave me goosebumps. Naughtydog NEVER disappoints with their quality and attention to detail. Last of us is my all time fav and i cant express how much love i have towards the series. The storyline got me on an emotional level and i will always hold it dear to my heart. Im looking forward to the release date and i feel bad for xbox users since they cannot experience what us ps4 players have been through with this series. Hope i win!

Pokemon Sword and Shield
I am so excited to see Baldur’s gate 3 from Larian, the makers of divinity. The Baldur’s gate games have been one of the most formative game series since I can remember. I have many fond memories of playing Dark alliance: Baldur’s gate with my siblings over and over and to see it continue on makes me so happy.
So incredibly excited for Kojima Productions first game Death Stranding to finally release in 2019! Sony giving Hideo Kojima the green light to make whatever weirdness he wants, means it’ll be a great experience in story and environment. I loved all the Metal Gear games and I can’t wait to see what he does with new worlds and characters to explore.
I’m most excited for Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order from Respawn! I loved the Titanfall series and am currently playing Apex Legends and I couldn’t be more happy that Respawn is in charge of bringing forth the new Star Wars game. They do an incredible job with lore text in their games that don’t even have story modes so I can’t wait to see the lore they bring with a full story game and one set in the Star Wars Universe! The Star Wars universe is so well connected through all mediums and games are no exception! I loved the Force Unleashed series and have been eagerly waiting for a Star Wars story game to give me that fix. I can’t wait to see what Respawn can do with the power of this generation of gaming.

The Super Mario Maker 2 reveal got me super excited. I loved making mario levels and playing levels people around the world have made on Wii U, and I’m so glad it’s coming to Nintendo Switch!
I’m super excited for Pokemon Sword and Shield from Nintendo! I’ve loved Pokemon for years now and having a full pledged mainline Pokemon game on Switch has me super hyped!
Cant wait to play death stranding for ps4, it looks really interesting and no one fully knows what it’s all about. Hideo kojima is a genius so i’m sure it’ll be his best work yet! Sony is killing this generation with great console exclusives like this. The hype is real!
I can’t wait for Links Awakening. Ever since Nintendo announced it I’ve been dying to try it. I remember getting the original (I still own to this day) and playing it non stop till I beat it on my gameboy Pocket (then again on the Gameboy color when I bought the DX version which I also still own.) It blew my mind that there were mario enimies in a Zelda game. It will definitely be the game that finally breaks me and makes me buy a switch.

I am very excited for Halo: Reach. The announcement is made by Bungie, it is set to release on PC. The reason this announcement is so important to me is because it was a great game which brings back so much memories and it is awesome to bring it on to the PC.

I’m excited for new announcements about Nintendo’s Pokemon Sword and Shield. I haven’t touched a Pokémon game on a console since Red, Blue, and Yellow. So getting back into a Pokémon game no matter how far along is exciting to me.
I’m super excited about bend studios announcement of the free dlc for days gone on sony ps4. It has been a long time since I have found a good single player game I have been excited for, also these days most games nickel and dime you as much as they can to get more money. So refreshing to have some free dlc.
