Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Alternatively, it may be a recently released game that was demoed at last year’s show. This may be the year when you discover something new that quickly becomes a new favourite. Can’t wait for zelda remake on the switch. It’s a game I’ve always wanted to play.
I am most excited for Xbox’s gaming announcement. I haven’t owned an Xbox in over 5 years so I’m looking forward to getting back into Gears.
Borderlands 3 by Gearbox. I spent countless hours wrapped up in the first two games in particular, and I’m still playing them today!
I am really excited for Pokémon Sword and Sheild that Nintendo JUST announced. I started dating a wonderful girl last year who is super into gaming. She got me back into gaming. She’s super into Pokémon and is a pro player. I played the original Pokémon games and didn’t touch Pokémon since. I recently bought Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee. It was magical as my childhood was coming back to me. Sitting under the blankets late at night playing Pokémon Blue hiding from parents! Playing the remake after almost two decades really brought me back and even added another dimension of emotion into play, as I’m older and mature. It’s an fantastic franchise and I can’t wait for the sequels to come out. Oh, also, November 15th is my birthday so I know what I’m asking for 😉
So, if I were to win a switch package, my gf and I would have our switches to play Sword and Sheild at the same time!!

I am most excited for Spongebob Squarepants Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated. Good to see THQnordic adding in content that was cut from the original game and bringing it to multiple platforms.
The trailer for Death Stranding had my curiosity piqued once again – I truly believe Kojima Productions is bringing the goods this November.

I’m hoping for Nintendo to announce a SNES emulator for Nintendo Switch.
Definitely excited for Halo Infinite, because Halo brought me into gaming and looks like Halo Infinite will be returning to its root.
I am excited for the DLC for Super Smash Bros Ultimate! Also the Mario Maker #2 game!! Nintendo for life and the Switch rocks!

I’m really excited for Death Stranding by Kojima Productions, it has a unique blend of horror/exploration that I’ve never seen before. Pumped to get it on the PS4 and witness the start of something new!
Excited for Stadia as announced by Google. It’s a new evolution of gaming access. Its technology that could change and end the prospect of gaming ownership as we know it. It is potentially, an iphone moment, where new tech drastixally changes what our gaming future can be like.
I’m excited about seeing if the rumours of a new switch coming is true, because I’ve been planning on buying one lately so I might as well get the latest version.
Looking forward to Link’s Awakening remake on the Switch.
I’m most excited to hear more about the new Animal Crossing for Switch! I’ve poured hundreds of hours into the previous games ever since discovering the Gamecube version many years back. I can’t wait to see the new features, graphics, and hopefully get a release date as well!
I’m super excited for Star Wars: Jedi Fallen order from Respawn!
I’ve loved both Titanfalls games and currently enjoying Apex Legends and I couldn’t be happier knowing they’re in charge of the next Star Wars game. I love how the Star Wars story continues through all mediums and that includes the games. I loved the Force Unleashed series and have been waiting for my fix of a Star Wars story game ever since. It’s going to be amazing to witness what Respawn can pull off in this generation of gaming, I know it’s going to be incredible. Can’t wait to see what this new Star Wars entry brings to the overall lore of the Star Wars galaxy.

Marvel’s Avengers by Square Enix! (For PS4 hopefully…). The Marvel hype right now is bananas and I need MORE! Let’s hope it includes native co-op… Fingers crossed that it will be available in the near future and not another five year long wait!
Star Wars Jedi of the fallen order by Respawn Entertainment (parent company: Electronic Arts) I would love to finally see a new single player Star Wars game instead of whatever loot box-fester trash we got with SWBF2 and considering Respawn’s track record I’m sure it will be good!

Reason why I’m excited: Platinum Games is one of my personal favorite developers in recent years, they make great games with great stories, gameplay characters, etc. I am definitely looking forward to Astral Chain for those same reasons.

I am super excited for Death Stranding. Kojima makes one of the greatest story driven games ever and I was a bit let down by MGSV since it was more gameplay oriented and the story was all over the place. Can’t wait for November 8th!
The final chapter of Kentucky Route Zero (by Cardboard Computer), and the tv edition. Have enjoyed its amazing journey since 2013, and look forward to sharing this game with the fiancee once available on the Nintendo Switch.

My most exciting gaming announcement so far this year is the release date for Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age for Nintendo Switch (developed by Square Enix). I love the Dragon Quest series and have been holding off on buying this game on other platforms because I think it’ll be awesome to play on the go.
The Legend of Zelda from Nintendo is my favourite game of all time and any new versions is exciting. Makes me want to get my hands on a copy to play now!
