Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. im excited for Control by Remedy Entertainment. games with an engaging storyline with unique gameplay always pique my interest and Control seems to fit the bill.
The announcement I’m most excited for hasn’t actually happened…yet. I’m excited about the possibility of Ubisoft announcing a new Splinter Cell game at E3. I’ve been playing these games for YEARS and it’s well past due for a new addition to the franchise.
Im excited to see if Nintendo will release any new legend of zelda game due to the fact that its what got me into fantasy and games

I’m definitely most excited for Pokemon Sword & Shield for the Nintendo Switch. This game looks amazing, and I’m very excited for the first normal pokemon game that is in full HD. I’m hoping they show us more at E3, to help get my hype to even higher levels.
I am looking forward to the switch and Mario cart game . I loved playing it as a kid and I want my kids to try it out now and see if I can beat them at something 🙂
Call of duty new modern warfare coming out the end of the year is going to be a game changer to the slowly dying series I’m excited to go back in time

I’m most excited for the Final Fantasy 7, by Square Enix, remake on Sony PlayStation. I played the original multiple times when it first came out. It is probably my all-time favorite game. (I might have teared up a little when I heard the music the first time they made the announcement).
I’m really looking forward to more info about Animal Crossing. I played it with friends for hours and it will be awesome to know when I can get it for my Nintendo switch.
Really looking forward to an Elderscrolls Reveal from Bethesda. Also looking forward to micrsoft announcing thier new console and or cross platform play. As a huge collector and Gamer, im always intrigued by the levels they manage to push to each year. Finding a studio that builds games such as the elderscrolls paves way for the future of gaming. The great console war in the same pushes on new features and innovation in tech. All worth my curiosity and excitement!
I’m excited for Crash Team Racing Nitro-fueled from Activision and Beenox. I was a huge fan of the original Crash Team Racing and never thought it would see a remake in the modern gaming era. With the news that this remake will not only have content from the original CTR, but content from Crash Nitro Kart (which I also adored) and a huge plethora of characters and customization not previously available, my excitement for this game has gone up tenfold. I can’t wait to play this game!
I’m really excited about the new Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening from Nintendo! I remember playing this game when i was younger and i would love to show my future childrens one or many games of this incredible serie!

I grew up playing this game. As such, it is a very nostalgic and therapeutic experience every time I play the new iteration of the franchise.

We don’t own a switch and it’s been on my children’s wish list for a while. I would be pretty stoked once they play it.
Since I have lots of memories playing super Mario when I was a child.
the Announcement I’m most excited about is the release date for the game “Cyber Punk 2077” by CD-Project Red. I used to play the pen and paper Cyber Punk game, so I’ve been anxiously awaiting this release. On top of that, CD-Project Red has proven that they are one of the best developers with how they’ve handled the Witcher games.
Ubisoft is always intersting
Nintendo announcing the Zelda: Links Awakening. I never got to play the original version, so this would be great while i wait for a sequel to Breath of the Wild.
It’s that time of year again, E3 2019. I am looking forward to seeing new releases by each company. But I am most excited for Super Mario Maker 2. I have been a Nintendo fan since I was kid. I’m excited to see these games are still around now, and the game play only getting better.
Announcement: Link’s Awakening Remake for Nintendo Switch
Manufacturer: Nintendo
Title of Game: The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening
Importance: To me, Link’s Awakening represents the ideal “indie” game (even though it was made at Nintendo). The adventure and story, being small but big, full of heart and fun. Games like Cave Story and Undertale follow in its path to some degree, both also being ideal indie games. It was also a game that I bought with my own money (saving up my tiny allowances and birthday money to buy the Game Boy and game). Now it’s coming to Switch, and with an adorable artstyle. The game meant a lot to me growing up. It also represents what I think is a turning point in Nintendo’s revival of the Zelda franchise (looking back at Link to the Past to make Link Between World and in some sense revisiting concepts of the original NES Zelda in Breath of the Wild), where hopefully they go from re-defining the gameplay and formula (Link Between Worlds, Breath of the Wild), and realize what a heartfelt story based Zelda (Link’s Awakening) can really add.
Sony PS4 Console – I once was a fanatic of video games but lost the time to play over the years with having kids and now would like to get back to playing. I’d love to see how far video game graphics have come over the years.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake announcement would be what I am most excited for. Ive beaten the original game 6 times and it was my favourite game as a child, the nostalgic feeling of the game brings back fond memories and im super excited for the remake
The new Halo Infinite got my attention.
I am really excited for Borderlands 3 by Gearbox Studios. I am excited about it because it is awesome an I own Borderlands2 and pre-sequel.

The Monster Hunter: World – Iceborne expansion has me the most excited right now. A hefty expansion to one of my favorite games ever. I can’t wait to see what other changes they have planned. However, we all know that the most exciting E3 announcement is the one you had no idea was coming. What is Rocksteady making?
The most exciting news I’ve heard is about Ghost Recon breakpoint releasing this year! The best gaming news is the news about games!
I can’t wait until Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order in November of this year. When it was announced by EA games I was like Freaking Awesome, finally a Star Wars game made for me. I’ve seen every movie at the theater except for the first. I’m truly excited to play the game on my XBOX.
I am looking forward to more information for Metroid for the Nintendo Switch. I really hope Retro Studios can bring in a great gameplay style like the old Metroid Prime franchise. I loved when they made it so you could aim with the controller pointed at the screen rather than having to aim with a joystick, added to the great first person view of doing most of the game. I can’t wait for this to come out, it’s been so long since we’ve had a metroid game on a console other than a handheld system.
I’m excited to see more Monster Hunter World: Iceborne
Super excited for Final Fantasy 7 Remake! The chance to replay a classic story with modern mechanics is just too good to pass up.
Honestly? Nintendo’s announcements. I’m looking forward to Animal Crossing – and have some hopes for them continuing Splatoon 2 development alongside active support for AC.
Aside from them, though, Bethesda. Sure would like to know more about what’s next for Wolfenstein and Dishonored series, and where they are headed with TES 6.

I am most excited to hear about halo infinity by 343 because I have been a die hard halo fan since the release of halo combat evolved also I am excited to see the big changes they are bringing by adding a game engine to the series. Thanks for the entry Best Buy.

I’m most excited about Nintendo’s Animal Crossing. When I was younger, this game was the one I put the most time into and has always been the most memorable to me.

I am most excited about an announcement from Square Enix regarding the Final Fantasy VII Remake! I have been playing the Final Fantasy games my whole life, and VII is my all time favourite. I have been a patiently waiting for years like many FF fans – I hope 2019 is the year!

Very excited for Watch Dogs 3 from Ubisoft. Played the first 2 and storyline is always amazing and enjoying. This announcement it really important because this 3rd sequel will take place in London, hacking and exploring the area will be awesome, will the story about BREXIT? who knows, can’t wait till this drop!.
