This week, Los Angeles welcomes thousands of people from around the world in the video game industry. The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3 2018) shows numerous games we will get to see first hand. I arrived in LA on Saturday to get a feel of the location a couple days before it all begins. The streets were filled with posters and video wall banners. It’s easy to see that LA is ready to welcome all gamers!

I was looking forward to seeing the Spider-Man video wall, which I have seen on Insomniac Games’ Twitter feed, and I finally saw it! I shot it in the morning, but I bet it looks ‘amazing’ at night 😉

Spider-Man is one of the most anticipated games for PlayStation 4 this year. It’s obvious to the excitement here in LA. All you have to do is look above the Convention Centre’s front door.

For years, Activision’s Call of Duty has been a main highlight and this year is no different. Just take a look at this poster located at the South Hall entrance. Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII is a game that you surely will not want to miss this October.

WB Games has two games coming, LEGO DC Super Villains for the family and Hitman 2 for hardcore gamers. I really love DC super villains. They are colourful, amusing and each has its unique personality. I hope I’ll get to play it when I meet the WB Games team on Thursday, and of course I’ll tell you all about it!

Hitman 2 was announced just last week. I’m glad the franchise is still going since IO Interactive started working with WB Games. From what we saw on the most recent trailer, Agent 47 will have more tools to play with to take out targets without getting noticed.

Finally, here’s the outstanding Rage 2 banner. Posted just above the street, I bet it was all thought out from the marketing team at Bethesda, don’t you think?

Outside the Convention Center perimeter, the Figueroa Hotel has three huge hand-painted murals. Each year, a different publisher rents the space to make its next game shine. This year, this is where we can see Fallout 76‘s mascot Vault Boy happily walking on a new wasteland. This mural is a masterpiece I’ll always smile at when I walk by. I can’t help it. Now that we know the game promise to be greater than Fallout 4, I can’t wait to hear more about the game.
