Disney says more of everything is coming our way
To help extend the life of the existing Disney Infinity 3.0, Disney will be releasing four new play sets based on the big events Disney has coming this year. So expect all new play sets coming from Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and classic Disney that you love. With the addition of these new play sets, it will ensure that Disney Infinity 3.0 has the most characters and content ever released in a Disney video game.
Zootopia, is set to come first!
With its release in just days, Zootopia opens in theaters on March 4th and that means new characters for the Disney Infinity universe. Zootopia is the tale of the first rabbit to join the police force in the mammal metropolis called, Zootopia. That means its star characters, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are here, and together they make a great addition to the lineup of characters in Disney Infinity 3.0.
The return of a family favourite means the return of an old friend
This April will see the return of a Disney classic, reimagined by Jon Favreau in a live action remake of The Jungle Book. That means the return of one of Disney’s most beloved characters, and what better place to see him come to life then on the big screen? That’s right, Baloo will be coming to Disney Infinity 3.0. Fans asked for more classic characters and Disney delivered.
Get ready to fight it out in the brand new Marvel Battlegrounds
The teams at Disney and Marvel worked closely together to bring not only a great new play set but also an original new story to Disney Infinity 3.0. They will also be introducing four-player local co-op gameplay to Disney Infinity, which will make this arcade style brawler play set, a great game for friends and family alike.
Disney also announced brand new iconic characters set to join the fray, like Hulkbuster, Ant-Man, Ultron and more. All these new characters will also come with costumes inspired by the upcoming film “Captain America: Civil War”. They will also be releasing Black Suit Spider-Man as an individual character, as he was only available in the PlayStation Vita version of Disney Infinity 2.0.
