Check out my review for the Hercules DJ Control Jogvision and P32 DJ Controller. They are both pro level DJ controllers and both offer a robust set of features along with great build quality. The Jogvision with its focus on core digital DJs, and the P32 with its 32 pads focused on a much more performance oriented DJ.

The tools DJs use has changed over the years as formats change, vinyl, cd's and now MP3s have made becoming a DJ that much more affordable and accessible. Hercules has been making digital DJ controllers for years now and in this article I will be talking about two affordable and easy to use controllers to get you started on your DJ career, the DJ Control Compact and the DJ Control Instinct P8.

Steering wheels are a great way to add a little more realism when playing your favourite racing simulator. If you want to go the extra mile however, a gaming chair can really take you there. The Playseat Evolution-M, can make a great addition to your gaming setup and won't take up too much space in process.

Video games can take us to whole new worlds with increasing realism and now that VR has become a reality, the whole way we play games is going to change. With all this added realism, control in video games has never been so important. Thrustmaster, a well-established and well-respected brand that caters to the simulation crowd, already gives players amazing experiences when it comes to controlling video games. Be it with a steering wheel or flight stick Thrustmaster has been leading the pack for years now and it’s apparent, they really know their stuff.

On September 10th, I had the chance to check out the Red Bull Proving Grounds Fight For The 6ix, held on the University of Toronto campus. The main game being played was Street Fighter 5 and the competition was fierce but so was the comradery. Tons of matches were played but only one player could be the recipient of the single qualifying spot and win the trip to Santa Monica to compete as the Canadian representative in the finals.

The summer is already half over, which means back to school is only a month away. Which is a bummer for most but there is a silver lining, it is the best time to get a new PC or upgrade from your current potato of a rig and I have got some great gaming computers here, to help give you a one up on the competition in game and in school.

The school year is almost upon us, and if you are going to university, chances are you will be moving into a dorm. Granted you won’t be spending all your time in your dorm room, but when you are in there, you want it to be comfortable and to maximize what little space you have available. Hopefully this guide will help you pick out some great gear and give you some good ideas to give you the ultimate gaming station.

 Mirror’s Edge Catalyst is the next step in a game unlike any other. With its new open world map, the rooftops of the city seem endless. The closed beta just ended, and it was great to get back into Faith’s shoes to run through the rooftops again in preparation for the game’s release on June 7th.

The latest entry in the series that influenced the entire gaming industry as we know it, is set to release this May 13th and you can get yourself a piece of the action early. The Doom closed beta happened last weekend and it was intense.  The Doom open beta is coming fast so you better grab your shotgun and get psyched!

Star Wars Battlefront released last fall and received mixed reviews from critics and players alike. I for one really enjoy the game and can’t wait for more as the rest of the planned updates and DLC continues to drop throughout the rest of the year.
