At the 2022 Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, Xbox and Turn 10 Studios announced a follow-up to 2017’s Forza Motorsport 7, simply titled Forza Motorsport. At the moment, it’s not entirely clear if that will be the final name of the game when it launches in spring 2023. Though, it is currently being referred to as the all-new Forza Motorsport by both Xbox and Turn 10 Studios.

Built from the ground up to showcase the power of the Xbox Series X
If Turn 10 Studios made one thing clear in the new game announcement, it’s that the all-new Forza Motorsport has been built from the ground up to showcase the power of the Xbox Series X. The latest entry into the franchise features a generational leap in immersion and is being touted as the most technically advanced racing game ever made. It features overhauled physics, stunning cars and tracks, new dynamic time of day system, advanced car damage, and real time ray tracing on track.
Additionally, Turn 10 Studios has completely overhauled the core driving experience in the all-new Forza Motorsports. Taking advantage of the Xbox Series X’s power, the fidelity of the physics simulation has been improved roughly by 48 fold. Furthermore, new features like tire and fuel management, multiple tire compounds, and new in-depth car building have been included.
This is most evident at the trackside pits. Advanced materials and shaders along with ray tracing bring out incredible detail in the gold heat wrap, anodized aluminium, and carbon fibre.

While the all-new Forza Motorsport doesn’t launch until spring 2023, it’s clear that Turn 10 Studios has another winner on their hands. With new locals and fan favourite tracks, incredible realistic visuals, dynamic time of day system and battle damage—there is a lot to get excited about.
