BenQ projectors

Projectors have been around for many years, yet I don’t think they get the love they deserve! They are more versatile than a television, can display everything from movies to presentations on a huge range of surfaces, and they enable to project a huge range of image sizes. Find out for yourself: enter to win one of four BenQ projectors from BenQ and Best Buy.

Many years ago, when my children were younger, I bought a projector to use as the main display in my basement home theatre. I was shocked that it never stayed in one place: my wife would move it to the bedroom to watch a movie when she was sick in bed, my kids would move it to their bedrooms for sleepovers, and I even took it to work a couple times for presentations. That’s something you certainly can’t say about a television. Rarely a day went by that it was not used for movies, gaming, work and more.

What are some of the great features found in BenQ projectors

Get one of the newest projectors in your home from BenQ and you’ll be amazed at how much you’ll use it. The prizes that we are giving away in this contest, two BenQ SVGA DLP Data Projectors (MS517EH) and two BenQ 1080p DLP Home Theatre Projectors (W1090) were reviewed here on the blog by Erin Lawrence: read her review and you’ll learn why she was “blown away.”

Here are some of the features that impressed her about both projectors:

  • virtually no set up required; plug it in and it is ready to go
  • projected a massive image with amazing clarity
  • bright display even in a brightly lit room

… and specifically about the W1090 (which is designed for home theatres)

  • automatically found the input source including Chromecast
  • picture was remarkable: “this picture rivaled any TV”
  • internal 10W speaker provides fuller sound than the data projector

Which of these features stands out for you as the best? Will you use it mostly for work, for streaming movies … maybe for gaming! Enter now and you may get to find out for yourself how great BenQ projectors are.

  1. I can only imagine my husband’s surprise if I won one of these! This would be an amazing prize–so much fun to make our living room a real home theater!

  2. I had no idea that the picture quality of the BenQ projector was even comparable to a television–this is very impressive!

  3. The quality of the BenQ 1080p DLP Home Theatre Projector has got to be my favorite feature – my husband isn’t sold on the whole projector thing but I think having a larger screen and with that resolutions would make him a believer lol! We would 100% be using it for our movie nights with our friends!

  4. I would use either one (and particularly the W1090) to watch movies or display pictures at home in our living room on the large wall.

  5. My favourite feature is that it projected a massive image with amazing clarity! But the other features are great too!

  6. I love how this projector is portable. I could easily take it anywhere and setting it up would be a breeze. I would use the projector to watch sport games at my cottage, in my living room and at my friends houses. 😉

  7. I love that you just plug it in and it is ready to go. It’s also amazing how small projectors have gotten.

  8. I like the easy hook-uo hdmi feature and the variety of screen size. So many other too many to mention.

  9. Resolution of display is definitly my favorite feature. I would use the projector in my living room. My family and I are major movie junkies. Watching our favorite movies in excellent quality would be a huge bonus! 🙂

  10. DLP and the high resolution support for 1080 are my favorite features , these are essential features for a good experience with projectors

  11. There are so many great features on both of these projectors,it’s a challenge to pick only one.

I guess I’ll start with these projectors being so versatile, you can use either of them for business of home projection/ entertainment. I specifically like the image quality: “16:9 aspect ratio and Full HD 1080p resolution means you can watch the big game or a blockbuster hit on the wide screen in crystal-clear detail”.

  12. If I had a BenQ Projector, I would use it to watch the NHL Playoff games and for playing PS4 when friends are over.

  13. I would really like the check out the quality in a bright room. I love that it is 1080p with high lumens.

  14. Wow, this is an amazing projector. I’d use it as a mobile computer screen for business meetings and presentations. Imagine having presentations that everyone can see from anywhere in the room instead of having to crowd around a screen.

  15. My favourite feature is the virtually no set up part! I tend to get confused if lots of wires are involved

  16. My favorite feature is ‘projected a massive image with amazing clarity’, would love to movies with this.

  17. Awesome projector! It woul fit perfectly in my living room, it has an awesome picture quality.
