BenQ projector for christmas gifts

It’s the sixth day of Christmas at Best Buy and we’re taking a look at a few of my favourite BenQ projectors. I reviewed both BenQ portable and BenQ home theatre projectors this year and I was so impressed by the video quality and operating system. Here’s a look at why BenQ projectors make a great holiday gift.

BenQ Home Cinema projectors

If you have a movie fan or a gamer in your house, a BenQ Home Cinema projector will be their favourite Christmas gift. I tested out the BenQ HT4550i Home Cinema HDR Projector this year and I was shocked by how sharp, colourful, and bright the picture quality was. It’s a 4K projector that can showcase video from 60 inches up to 200 inches, and it has HDR10 and HDR10+ for better detail. There are three HDMI 2.0 inputs if you’d like to plug in a gaming console or cable box, and there is Wi-Fi built so you can stream video.

I love the Google operating system on this BenQ HT4550i, and it’s so nice that all you have to do is login and your home screen is set up with your favourite apps. While I thought the picture quality and brightness on this projector was amazing, I was really impressed with the audio quality. You wouldn’t think a projector could produce clear, high volume audio, but the BenQ HT4550i can. It has a 5 watt speaker that you can turn all the way up, and there’s even a bit of bass.

BenQ’s Portable GV30 Projector

Until I tested out the BenQ Portable GV30 Projector, I had no idea a portable projector could produce such great image quality. What’s even better about this projector is how you can pivot it 135 degrees so it will point at the ceiling, straight ahead, or down on the floor. It’s packed in a carrying case so you can take it with you everywhere you roam, and it even has a 2.1 channel Bluetooth speaker system with Extra Bass so it’s a dual use device. If you don’t want to watch movies or stream your phone content you can just connect to it via Bluetooth and stream your favourite playlists.

BenQ 4K TK860i Home Cinema Projector

BenQ projector for the holidays

If you’ve thought a projector wouldn’t work in your home because your living room is too bright, you’re going to love the BenQ’s 4K TK860i. This projector has a very long range, and it can project up to 18 feet (6 meters) away to produce an image up to 200 inches. I tested out this projector and thought it has very impressive picture quality. I liked how bright and vibrant it was, even when the sun was streaming through the windows.

It has HDR-Pro technology so it’s great for gaming, and it has three HDMI 2.0b to plug in gaming consoles. While it’s considered a home theatre projector and can project large images, it can also be scaled down to 40 inches. Having a smaller screen option makes it perfect for a game room or bedroom.

Which BenQ projector will you gift this holiday?

BenQ projectors will be a great holiday gift for someone else, but they also make a great family gift for a living room, home theatre, or to take with you as you travel. You can find BenQ projectors at Best Buy right now.

  1. My dream goal has always been to have a culdsac party with all the neighbours and project a movie in the backyard! This would be such a fun thing to win!

  2. Our family would absolutely love a BenQ’s Portable GV30 Projector to take on the go. We spend holidays at grandparents and go to the lake or camping and this would be such a fun addition to take with us for movie nights on the go!
