So many people have Sony on their wishlist at Christmas time. Some will have Sony headphones like the WHXB900N Over-Ear Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Headphone that delivers amazing sound and blocks out annoying sounds. Others might have a Sony HTST5000 Dolby Atmos Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer to liven up the home theatre experience in their home. However, the item on most people’s wishlists is a new Sony TV: that’s what we are giving away in this contest. Read on to find out how to enter for a chance to win an amazing Sony 55 inch OLED TV.

Sony under the Christmas tree

I’m surprised no one has invented a holiday song related to finding Sony under the tree on Christmas morning. Holiday songs are all about traditions we cherish and repeat and I think Sony has become part of many people’s holiday tradition. Don’t we all have a Sony holiday memory? I know I do.

A long, long time ago, I was dying for a portable cassette player: and of course Sony was “the brand” with their Walkman line. There aren’t many gifts from my past that I remember opening, but I can recall unwrapping that bright yellow Walkman Sport like the one shown here—vividly remember!

My first thin LED big screen TV was, and still is, a Sony. I’ve had it for over 13 years now and still love the picture quality. When it finally bids me farewell, the Sony XBR55A8G that we are giving away in this contest would be a fantastic replacement. I sent one of these to Shelly to review and she absolutely loved it for watching the newest movies and even for gaming. The OLED screen really has to be seen to be believed—it is that amazing! Read her review if you want to learn more. Here is her video discussing this amazing television.

  1. A Sony Playstation 4 Pro would be great! My best holiday memory is getting the original Playstation under the tree when I was a youngster 🙂

  2. A sony a7 II full frame mirrorless camera.- always remember my dad setting up his camera in the tripod to get a Christmas family photo. Selfies with the phone just arent the same.

  3. I would love a Sony camera for making youtube videos. Sony makes quality products, we have a few and enjoy them all.

  4. My family and I still use a 1080p Phillips tv, so an upgrade to a 4k OLED will be a great holiday gift for the family. Also the Sony wh-1000xm3 will be useful for flights!

  5. Since I use my TV to play music I wish for a sound bar, depending on budget either a HTS350 unit that’s in my budget or a HTST5000, If budget is no object.

I too had a yellow Sport Walkman. Though mine was an earlier model. Circa: 1980. I loved it. It was the first time I could take my music with me. It certainly made walking back and forth to school a pleasure. It also made it easier to ignore my noisy brothers.

  6. I’d love to get the Sony A6000 Mirrorless Camera! Looks amazing – would be nice to have a non-phone camera option.

  7. Sony TV’s and other audio/ visual products are top of the line. Many people I know have Sony TV’s–the quality is superb –the best thing to go with it would be a Sony STRDN1080 7.2 Channel Atmos Network AV Receiver in order to get the very best immersive experience.

  8. Nothing’s better than pairing it up with a Sony Dolby Atmos soundbar. I guess HT-Z9F is perfect.

Even though optional, I would like to share a childhood memory – Back to the days of Sony Walkman. Year 1994-95 roughly. Cassettes were in fashion for music. Sony walkman then was a luxury and an attention seeker device. Those were the days when Phillips and Sony wired sound systems were all around. Then came this little device in our home with instruction – to be shared among 5 brothers (including cousins. Joint Family you know). Imagine the planning that went on for hours with a time table made for specific hours when each brother will have the possession. Me and one of my cousin being youngest got the least amount of time but nonetheless the memory is still so fresh. We had no fight surprisingly and all went well because goal was to enjoy the music. Good old times.
