So many people have Sony on their wishlist at Christmas time. Some will have Sony headphones like the WHXB900N Over-Ear Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Headphone that delivers amazing sound and blocks out annoying sounds. Others might have a Sony HTST5000 Dolby Atmos Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer to liven up the home theatre experience in their home. However, the item on most people’s wishlists is a new Sony TV: that’s what we are giving away in this contest. Read on to find out how to enter for a chance to win an amazing Sony 55 inch OLED TV.

Sony under the Christmas tree

I’m surprised no one has invented a holiday song related to finding Sony under the tree on Christmas morning. Holiday songs are all about traditions we cherish and repeat and I think Sony has become part of many people’s holiday tradition. Don’t we all have a Sony holiday memory? I know I do.

A long, long time ago, I was dying for a portable cassette player: and of course Sony was “the brand” with their Walkman line. There aren’t many gifts from my past that I remember opening, but I can recall unwrapping that bright yellow Walkman Sport like the one shown here—vividly remember!

My first thin LED big screen TV was, and still is, a Sony. I’ve had it for over 13 years now and still love the picture quality. When it finally bids me farewell, the Sony XBR55A8G that we are giving away in this contest would be a fantastic replacement. I sent one of these to Shelly to review and she absolutely loved it for watching the newest movies and even for gaming. The OLED screen really has to be seen to be believed—it is that amazing! Read her review if you want to learn more. Here is her video discussing this amazing television.

  4. My best Sony Holiday memory was when I received the Sony’s portable cassette recorder in 1990. I was 7 years old and still remember it was gray. It came with funny arched metal earphones with 2 black sponges on each ear. I listened to all cassette tapes we had at home, and bought tons from music-shops. I even recorded thousands of imaginative talk shows. Maybe this is why I chose to study Journalism later. Thanks Sony for all the good memories!

  5. I think the Sony WH-CH700N Over-Ear Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Headphones would be amazing too. I would put them on at the end of the night to escape into some good music and rest my soul during the chaos of the holiday season.

  7. Sony STR-ZA3100 7.2 Channel 4K Ultra HD Network AV Receiver

Sony Christmas memory was around 1980 or thereabouts. I got a big Sony boombox and my brother got a small bluish/gray silver Sony Walkman, he was younger of course. He could wear the Walkman on his shorts waistband and I could wear the boombox hanging from my shoulder with the help of an old guitar strap. Most of the time I tied the boombox to my 10 speed bicycle’s handlebars and I was off riding with my envious friends in tow, mainly to the beach. My parents knew when I was returning home because they could hear me from blocks away. Our neighbours eventually got to love that boombox too, either that or they were slowly going deaf.

  8. I would like the Sony 65″ 4K UHD HDR OLED Android Smart TV (XBR65A8G Web Code: 13492001 ) this Christmas .

  9. I would be one happy man if I received the Sony A6000 Mirrorless Camera with 16-50mm/55-210mm Lenses on Christmas morning. It also comes with a memory card and camera bag which is a bonus. I don’t have a Sony story but hopefully I will have one to tell. Thank you Best Buy for the chance and Merry Christmas to all.

    • Sony PlayStation 4, now that the kids are getting older, they’re starting to get into video games

I played Game Boy and the red and white Nintendo console growing up, but there was always a math class or piano lesson to go to.

  10. Sony SS-CSE Atmos speakers
Best memory ever was when I got my sony yellow walkman sports cassette back in 1993.

  11. I recently pulled my Sony Walkman out of a box I was rummaging through to find something else. I popped in a tape and listened to some very dated songs that I listened to oh-so-many years ago. It was a great reminder of the Christmas when that Walkman was brand new! This year I would love to find a Sony XB32 EXTRA BASS Waterproof Bluetooth Wireless Speaker under the tree. It would be perfect for the kitchen counter … right beside the sink!

  12. I would love a Sony PS-LX310 Belt Drive Bluetooth USB Turntable. I had a record player as a kid and would love.

  13. Sony has great products I have had a sony tv for 30 year and still works, I would love a Song 16 mm Camera .

  14. Sony Cyber-shot HX400 20.4MP 50X Optical Zoom Digital Camera with Wi-Fi – Black. It’s the perfect camera to bring to concerts. Great specs to take awesome photos, about the same performance as a Sony DSLR plus with a non removable lens so you can bring it to most shows. Note, always check with the venue before bringing you camera to a show. Thank you.
