So many people have Sony on their wishlist at Christmas time. Some will have Sony headphones like the WHXB900N Over-Ear Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Headphone that delivers amazing sound and blocks out annoying sounds. Others might have a Sony HTST5000 Dolby Atmos Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer to liven up the home theatre experience in their home. However, the item on most people’s wishlists is a new Sony TV: that’s what we are giving away in this contest. Read on to find out how to enter for a chance to win an amazing Sony 55 inch OLED TV.

Sony under the Christmas tree

I’m surprised no one has invented a holiday song related to finding Sony under the tree on Christmas morning. Holiday songs are all about traditions we cherish and repeat and I think Sony has become part of many people’s holiday tradition. Don’t we all have a Sony holiday memory? I know I do.

A long, long time ago, I was dying for a portable cassette player: and of course Sony was “the brand” with their Walkman line. There aren’t many gifts from my past that I remember opening, but I can recall unwrapping that bright yellow Walkman Sport like the one shown here—vividly remember!

My first thin LED big screen TV was, and still is, a Sony. I’ve had it for over 13 years now and still love the picture quality. When it finally bids me farewell, the Sony XBR55A8G that we are giving away in this contest would be a fantastic replacement. I sent one of these to Shelly to review and she absolutely loved it for watching the newest movies and even for gaming. The OLED screen really has to be seen to be believed—it is that amazing! Read her review if you want to learn more. Here is her video discussing this amazing television.

  1. for this Christmas i would really love to have sony wh-1000xm3. this would be awesome for listening to my favourite jazz and classical music while cooking in the kitchen. Merry Christmas!

  2. I would love to be apart of sharing the love of music with a Sony stereo & sound system from Best buy, and help teach the world to sing along…

  3. WHXB900N headphones would literally change my life. Ever aince i had my fiancees nephew over and he “dropped” my sennheisers, somehow causing water damage from the “drop”, ive been stuck listening to my music through my tinny laptop speakers. I cant enjoy music half as much as i used to.

  4. I would ove to have a 4k HDR Tv as I still have a 1080p tv from 2012. I would love to see this Tv under the tree this year!

  5. I had that exact same Walkman 😀

And if I was too pick a product it would be the ( Sony a7 II Full-Frame Mirrorless Camera with FE 28-70mm Lens Kit.)
Because a cell phone camera just doesn’t cut it.

  6. We bought our son a portable Sony radio and cassette player for Christmas many years ago. It still works just fine (but I use it now as a radio..)

  7. Hello…I would love the Sony STRDN1080 7.2 Channel Atmos Network AV Receiver as I am a big movie buff and woudl love to hear what Dolby Atmos would sound like in our home.
My fist ghetto blaster was a Sony single tape deck with cd option on top with detachable speakers to get the full sound! It had a bass boost and it looked and sounded awesome. I bought it with my own money from lawn cutting and babysitting. So proud.

  8. So many great memories from Playstation 1 and then standing in line to snag a Playstation 2 when they were released. My Sony Walkman like the one shown as well to a discman when they came out. Other than the tv to big Sony products on my Radar are the Playstation 4 and their WX1000 M3 noise cancelling headphones.

  9. Sony HTS350 320-Watt 2.1 Channel Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer,
would be great with the TV I might win.

  10. best memory of Sony is when I received one Sony MP3 Player for Christmas about 20 yeas ago, I loved it and I still have it today

  11. The Sony PlayStation 4 Pro 1TB Limited Edition Console – Marvel’s Spider-Man Bundle would be on my wish list for my son. You asked about my best Sony Holiday memory, back in the days of Playstation 1, I had search for a game my son wanted for months, it already an older game already, you know how the game life goes, wish I could remember the name of it, I sure my son could tell you, it became a rare game, anyway that was when there used to be Sony stores in the malls, I walked in the store and saw the game, bought it, was so happy, best mom ever! What we will do for our children, but that is what Christmas is all about, giving and making others happy.

  12. Sony has been an integral part of the life and it started with Sony walkman around 1990’s and has never ended with recent purchase of Sony Soundbar with google chromecast. Its never ending and the quality you get is worth money spent.

  13. I never got any Sony for Christmas but maybe Im on the nice list and there will be the Sony In-Ear Noise Cancelling Truly Wireless Headphones in black I want badly. Thank you Best Buy for an awesome giveaway and hope everyone gets something they truly want and need this Christmas.

  14. like a picture that is clear as water. Our Aquos Sharp is a 10 as far as the clearness goes, but the Sony is in close running. I like the look, lightness in weight, sleek design, and functionality. We have the set up with a Sony Theater sound system. At one point when we were watching Oz the Great and Powerful, in 3D, our little granddaughter ended up disappearing at the blink of an eye! I looked around and she had jumped behind the sofa because “the lion was going to get her.” Clear video/great sound!

  15. I want Sony Over-Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones (WH1000XM3/B) to become part of BestBuy’s holiday experience.

  16. Best holiday memory was receiving a PS2 for christmas ! But lately, I’ve doing a lot of research on the Sony WF1000XM3 ANC headphones and I hope one day I can own another great product by Sony!

  17. Best Sony related memory is probably when my sister got a really nice Sony boombox back in the 90’s and I kept stealing it to listen to the radio. I’ve been having my eyes on a PS4 lately so I can play the God of War games I’ve missed since God of War 3.

  18. Bought our son a Sony PS4 a great years ago for Christmas which he loved/loves playing his NHL games on. We have one Sony 55”LED TV and would really love a new one for our family room as we have a very old non smart Tv there and no one wants to watch tv on it. It’s used for the PS4. Thx for the opportunity

  19. We actually wanted to buy the Sony-55-4k-uhd-hdr-oled-android-smart-tv last year Boxing Day but we could only afford the non- OLED model. You can’t beat the picture quality of the Bravia engine.

My Sony story took place in the early 80’s. I used to have two paper routes and used all my earnings One year to buy a Sony Sports walkman. I loved that waterproof yellow marvel of engineering and design. Thanks for the opportunity to add another beautiful Sony product to my life.

  20. Best sony holiday memory was opening up a PS2 on Christmas many years ago! The sony product I’ve had my eye on lately is the Sony WF1000XM3 ANC headphones!

  21. I would add this Sony mirrorless camera with 28-70 lens to the holiday experience list.

I just finished three semesters of college and learned how to use a DSLR, I’d love to upgrade!

A Christmas memory that’s dear to my heart was when I got my very first yellow Sony Walkman in 1990 when I was 10. I remember wearing my new denim jacket and walking around the neighbourhood listening to my new NKOTB Hangin Tough cassette tape.

Thanks for the chance to win, the sound on our TV has been acting weird lately!

  22. I have personally loved taking photos ever since I was a kid. I wasn’t that great at it and most of my photos in my youth involved a lot of ceiling in the shot. It wasn’t until I got older and picked up my first digital camera. The world opened up with the Sony digital Mavica and the 3.5 mini disk storage. I used this to document a lot of my early art work and could save it to my computer and print off at my convenience.
a couple of years later, I had been hired as a professional duct tape artist and had some extra cash to buy myself a new digtial camera. this one cost a cool $1100, had 3.5 megapixels. (WHOA!) and a new Sony memory stick. That documented hundreds of pieces and travelled all over north America.
a few years later, my phone took the place of my camera. They were good and let me practice, but I was still limited.
I eventually decided to get myself a gift and bought a Sony A6300 Mirrorless camera. This was truly a game changer and allowed me to capture the images of the world that I had been experiencing. The processor and lenses would allow me to stun my friends on line and have many of my friends consider me a professional photographer. Several of my shots have been used in web sites and had a couple published in books also.
If I was to ask for a gift, I would want the A6500 or if I am really special, the A6600. I love these small mirrorless cropped sensors since they are highly portable and allow me to take quick, random shots and not being in peoples faces as i capture the moment and have an everlasting memory of it.

  23. I would love to see Sony XB41 EXTRA BASS Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker part of our holiday experience since we love music & I was named after a song (by The Beatles).

My fave Sony holiday memory is growing up listening to Sony products including a stereo that my mom had. When ghetto blasters were popular, I asked for a Sony one that I could record songs off the radio. It was exciting to get one for Christmas & I got lots of use out of it recording mixed tapes.

Thanks so much for this chance to win & Happy Holidays!
