Luckily, Best Buy has a huge selection of toys and games for everyone, so whether you’re one or 100 you can relive a bit of that childhood magic. What’s more, we’re running our annual toy contest! Sphero, Anki, and Oculus make learning magical

There is a huge range of STEM and robotics toys available these days, and the best part is, they’re so much fun to use that kids will enjoy learning.

Sphero creates toys like the BOLT robotic ball to teach kids coding through a block-based visual language. Using the Sphero Edu app, you can control the Bolt’s movement and speed, as well as the colour and brightness of the built-in LED lights. (My personal favourites were Fizzgig from Jim Henson’s The Dark Crystal and Pegasus from Disney’s Hercules). On of the hottest toys this year are the Fingerlings Hugs by WowWee. These lovable, interactive critters can say and do over 40 things, and have extra long arms for hugging and hanging around. Hatchimals too, offer children a chance to have their own animal companion.   1. I would love the Oculus Go VR Headset as it would be great for sharing with others to play with and learning how it VR works.

  8. I would (if i could) get a telescope, my nephews (10&9) spend wayyyy too much time playing video games. I’d love for them to be able to have something to help them explore astronomy and maybe help give them perspective about this life on this planet.

  14. I would love to be able to offer my kids a Power Wheels Jeep Wrangler. It’s something they could share and enjoy together. They got to ride in their cousins’ similar little sportscar last year and loved it.

  16. I would love the Oculus Go headset–all that travelling and no packing– and immersive video gaming is the future. Also, if I won the other toys, I would keep a few and donate the rest to local charities.

  21. As a fan of Harry Potter, and creating things, I would love to build the LEGO Whomping Willow. As a child, I loved creating LEGO structures with my big brother. It would be so fun to indulge in that and act like a kid again. These prizes are fantastic, and I have many little people in my life who I would love to share them with.

I think kids nowadays need to learn lifeskills from an early age like cooking…and imaginative play is the best way to spark their interest. I try to convince her to ask him for something else but she has her heart set on it. It would be so amazing if I could win it for her. I don’t want Santa to disappoint my 6 year old.

  45. In this house we are all about high-tech. So robots like sphero or Anki and others, VR like Oculus or HTC, Drones like DJI or Parrot(and others high-tech toys) ; are the most fun. Yes these are more than one toy, but they are all about high-tech, the future of playing and learning.
