Sphero creates toys like the BOLT robotic ball to teach kids coding through a block-based visual language. (My personal favourites were Fizzgig from Jim Henson’s The Dark Crystal and Pegasus from Disney’s Hercules). On of the hottest toys this year are the Fingerlings Hugs by WowWee.   1. Power Wheels Ford F-150 – Silver/Black I would love to win for my grand daughter. She is going through a ruff time, her Mom is fighting lymphoma stage 2 and ovarian cancer also. This is going to be a ruff year for her, she loves riding in her Dads truck when he is home. So this little girl is finding it hard with Mom so sick and Dad out of town working.

  17. My 6 year old son has been wanting a set of drums since he had a little cheap set when he was 4. They weren’t overly well made, being plastic and didn’t last very long but he LOVED them. He so wanted another set right away and I hadn’t been able to find any until I was looking on your site, for this contest. The 21 piece blue drum set with stool, would make my son over the moon, happy. So glad to see that we can finally get him the drums he has been asking for.

I would get one of the power seeker telescopes for my 6 year old , he loves anything science related and last year we bought him a science lab kit with a telescope but it was pretty much useless and he was very dissatisfied pointed . For my 4 year old I would get her one of the doll houses !!! I have been making tiny doll house furniture for her to paint and a home to put them in would be great , she points them out every time we see them on display. And for my 14 yer old I would get him an air hockey table or some sort of go pro the camera because he is so into outdoor sports and making videos with his friends while they are out and about on the trails .

KidKraft Metropolis Train Set Would definitely be the best all time Christmas gift for my toddler son with many many years of life that his new baby brother could enjoy with him as they both grow older. This toy has a drawer for easy clean up and lots of room for more than one kid to manuver. Plus for moms and dads it doesn’t leave pieces scattered all over the floor. The colours look great and it looks like a product that would allow my kids to expand there’s minds/imaginations .

  43. When I was a teen I loved Harry Potter and now my daughter does as well. She would be delighted to get the Harry Potter Great Hall LEGO for Christmas but says that she would give away most of the other toys to other more deserving kids.

    I can just see him having a ball, going for a ride around the neighbourhood. He is such an active and happy boy, this toy would keep him interested, exercised and learning… all at the same time!!
