Luckily, Best Buy has a huge selection of toys and games for everyone, so whether you’re one or 100 you can relive a bit of that childhood magic. What’s more, we’re running our annual toy contest! Sphero, Anki, and Oculus make learning magical

There is a huge range of STEM and robotics toys available these days, and the best part is, they’re so much fun to use that kids will enjoy learning.

Sphero creates toys like the BOLT robotic ball to teach kids coding through a block-based visual language. Using the Sphero Edu app, you can control the Bolt’s movement and speed, as well as the colour and brightness of the built-in LED lights. This sweet rides are each decked out with details like a horn, lights, and music. Most ride on toys are equipped with parental controls too, so you can rest easy as your child zooms about. And perhaps the best thing about ride on toys is they get your kids outside, away for tablets and TVs, enjoying the fresh air.

(My personal favourites were Fizzgig from Jim Henson’s The Dark Crystal and Pegasus from Disney’s Hercules). On of the hottest toys this year are the Fingerlings Hugs by WowWee. These lovable, interactive critters can say and do over 40 things, and have extra long arms for hugging and hanging around. Hatchimals too, offer children a chance to have their own animal companion. Children can hatch a mystery animal and nurture it as it learns and grows.

  4. I’ll buy my daughter the Maserati-LSNS-SX-red. Because when we were buying a car for her mom and she was pointing to a used yellow Dodge Charger. Now whenever she sees a yellow car, she’s shouting that’s my car. She’s young to handle the big car at least I can buy her a smaller version. I don’t know if this Maserati is available in yellow colour.

  5. My triplet Sons are LEGO Enthusiasts and are always trying to imagine them selves becoming jedi with Star Wars LEGO sets.
    Magic is imagination and LEGO has it conquered.

  7. The anki-cozmo-robot-limited-edition would be a massive hit with my two Grandsons (and their Grandma), on Christmas morning! They would find the interactive component of this toy to be so engaging; creating endless hours of fun and laughter … truly magical!!!

  8. My grandsons (4 and 1yr) would love the Power Wheels My First Craftsman Ford-F150 Truck…they love zooming around outside on their trikes and would love riding around in this truck…just like grandma and grandpa”s truck!!!

  9. My budding scientist/engineer/inventor would LOVE to see the Lego Mindstorms (EV3) under the tree this year. She has always wished for this toy as she’s a huge Lego fan (I’m an AFOL, so I’m guessing some of my love for Lego has rubbed off onto her!), and loves being creative and finding new ways to improve her builds! She’s also into inventing things and robotics, so the Mindstorms is high on her interest list!

  11. The Geosafari Jr My First Microscope you be really cool. I remember having one as a child and loving it. I would put anything a d everything under it just to see what it looked like. Educational and fun. I think my kids would have fun with it.
