Sphero, Anki, and Oculus make learning magical

There is a huge range of STEM and robotics toys available these days, and the best part is, they’re so much fun to use that kids will enjoy learning.

Sphero creates toys like the BOLT robotic ball to teach kids coding through a block-based visual language. (My personal favourites were Fizzgig from Jim Henson’s The Dark Crystal and Pegasus from Disney’s Hercules). On of the hottest toys this year are the Fingerlings Hugs by WowWee.   8. I would choose the Trainor Sports Deluxe 15′ Trampoline Combo with shoe bag and roll-a-way wheels. I feel it would get the grandkids outside more, some healthy exercise and they could learn a few new tricks! I really think they would enjoy it! The magic lies with me watching them have fun.

  25. The Farm To Table Kitchen would be hours of fun for my little grandson who is a reluctant eater. I think the kitchen would help him understand the food-making process and encourage him to try the foods his family eats. I know he would have so much delight in preparing “gourmet meals” for all of us.

  50. I would choose the Magformers Smart Set because it’s something all 3 of my kids would love. The colourful pieces and ease of building would provide them with hours of creative play. Learning through play is so important to their development. Not only is this toy a lot of fun, it teaches them many concepts as they build. They can also use their creations for imaginative play. 🙂
