Star Wars toys keep getting better with each new movie. Two years ago, when “The Force Awakens” introduced the cute droid BB-8, Sphero introduced their incredibly accurate working version of the droid. Star Wars toys are an integral aspect of the experience: many of us grew up playing with them. So with a new movie arriving this year, Best Buy will help ensure this tradition continues by giving away almost $4000 worth of Star Wars toys in this contest! Which one are you dying to add to your collection?

Star Wars toys are not just for kids

Star Wars toys were always the coolest thing around. When we were kids they were cool, and nothing has change: kids today still love them. Interestingly, adults still love them too. They are not just for collectors either. I’ve met many adults who either still have Star Wars toys from when they were a kid, or ones they’ve acquired more recently.

I have a shiny silver Millennium Falcon that I think is great. It sits next to my computer at Best Buy’s head office. I used to have this massive tie fighter (shown in the image on the right) at my desk too. Unfortunately, our office was recently rearranged and it had to be moved. If I was to choose one of the newest toys as a replacement it would definitely be the Propel Speeder Bike Drone shown in the image at the top.

Boost your Star Wars collection with one contest entry

Few people have the dedication, and the good fortune, to have a large collection of Star Wars toys. Enter this contest and that will change. We will give away 2 great collections of this year’s new Star Wars toys as shown here:

Each of these prize packages has intelligent droids, exciting and fun drones, and the just announced, augmented reality wonder: Jedi Challenges—I bet this will be the hottest new toy for Christmas this year!

How to enter

As with all contests on the Best Buy blog, entering is easy. You can enter only once. In a comment below this article, tell us which one of the Star Wars toys in this contest prize is your favourite and why (you must tell us why it’s your favourite).

What you can win

We will randomly choose 2 winners from all eligible entries. One person will be awarded Prize A shown above, and the other will be awarded Prize B. Each prize is worth approximately $1880.

This contest runs from October 20th until November 2nd, 2017.

Remember you can only enter once. With prizes this fantastic, I suggest you increase your chances by telling all of your friends and family to enter too, and propose if any of your win you share the prize! Use the share buttons below to easily post the contest on your social channels.

Good Luck!

  1. My favorite is the Star Wars BB-8 Interactive Droid. Beside that it just looks super cute, I would love it for company kind of as a pet. The little spare time I have is not enough to take care of a real pet and I am really tired talking to my RoboVac. He does not follow and definitely not listen or answer.

  2. The Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenges VR Headset with Saber & Beacon is my favourite. That was always one of my favourite scenes in EPIV when Luke is training and Han looks on in bewilderment.

  3. The Sphero Star Wars R2-D2 App-Enabled Droid is my favourite. R2-D2 has always been one of my favourite Star Wars characters, and this looks like a great re-creation including the realistic movements and sounds. This would be a fun addition to any Star Wars fan’s collection.

  4. Propel SW Speeder Bike Drone! Ever since I first saw this in “The Return of the Jedi” it has given dreams! Dreams of what we can create to help us in this life.
oh yes, it is veery kuuuuuuulllll!!!!!!!!

  6. I think that the LITTLEBITS STAR WARS DROID INVENTOR KIT would be a great toy. It is always fun when kids get to build something and then play with it.

    • He was my favorite because while growing up I liked how he always got in trouble in the movies but he always managed to make it out of trouble as well.

  7. I like the Sphero Star Wars BB-9E App-Enabled Droid. A coworker brought in the BB8 version last year and it was a blast to play with it around the office. I like this model’s darker look. 🙂

  8. My favourite is the Spin Master Star Wars BB-8 because ti moves around following you and my nephews will love playing with it

  9. It’s the r2d2 toy for sure! I loved r2d2 as a kid so of course I still have a soft spot towards the character!

  10. The Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenge looks so cool! Touch of VR/AR technology mixed with Star Wars… What’s not to love. Either way, I would ultimately give a lot of these to my friend who just had a baby. Once he grows up he can be a Star Wars geek just like his dad and uncle.

  11. I think my favourite would have to be the Sphero Star Wars R2-D2 App-Enabled Droid. I love anything to do with “old school” Star Wars, and think this would be fun for both the little kids AND the big kids in the family! Thanks for a spectacular contest!

  12. Have you ever been to your friends house and they had that cool toy that no one else had… I never did. But instead of having that 1 cool toy, I want a room of cool toys…. Yeah, I’d like to be that guy! Sphero Star Wars BB-8 App-Enabled Droid would be the Awesome-est out of the awesome!

  13. The UBTECH Star Wars Stormtrooper Robot is my favourite item here. It’s really cool and interactive so the kids would love it (dad would too!).

  14. All of them are soooooooo cool! But my favourite is the Spin Master Star Wars BB-8 Interactive Droid because I loved BB-8 in the The Force Awakens and it would be so cool to be able to interact with him in real life!

  15. My favourite is the Propel Star Wars X-Wing Battling Quadcopter Drone. Drones are sickkkkkk, and why have just a few propellors when you can have 4??

  16. I would have to say my favourite would be the LENOVO STAR WARS: JEDI CHALLENGE VR HEADSET AND SABER KIT…I always thought it would be cool to be a Jedi, this is probably the closest I would ever get! Ha!! Also, VR gaming is amazing!

  17. My favorite is the Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit. I love that it allows you to use your mind and be creative. This is more than just a toy, it’s a learning tool. I love when items make you think and find solutions.

  18. I have to go with R2D2. SPHERO STAR WARS R2-D2 APP-ENABLED DROID

  22. littleBits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit, because it’s educational too. My son wants it for Christmas.

  23. The sphero bb8 droid for sure. My 3rd grade daughter has been using these in her coding classes at school this past month and loves them! Winning this would be amaZing.

  24. The SPHERO STAR WARS R2-D2 APP-ENABLED DROID because I’ve always wanted a R2 companion ever since seeing the original movies as a kid!

  25. I love the Propel Star Wars TIE Fighter Advanced Battling Quadcopter Drone because of it’s LED lights, speed and drone capabilities. Drone toys are the ways to go.

  26. The Spin Master Star Wars BB-8 Interactive Droid is my favourite toy amongst the prizes, because BB8 is such an awesome robot character and having him in the follow me mode to roll beside me will be amazing.

  27. I like the Sphero Star Wars BB-8 App-Enabled Droid best because watching it the movie always made me smile and having an app enable version would bring me good fun at home.

  28. The Sphero Star Wars R2-D2 App-Enabled Droid (R201FCA) – White/Blue, because my R2-D2 cassette player stopped working and I need to fill this void in my life.

  29. The BB-8 would have to be my favourite. The best feature is that I can control it with my phone.

  30. UBTECH Star Wars Stormtrooper Robot is my favourite toy. I’d love to have a little robot wandering around to ward off intruders!

  31. My favourite Star Wars toy is the LITTLEBITS STAR WARS DROID INVENTOR KIT. I think my kids would love to build a droid. It’s great to let kids be creative and invent rather than react to the toy they have.

  32. It would be hard to say which is my favourite until I’ve had a chance to play with them all but I’d say from a glance that the Sphero R2-D2 app-enabled droid would probably be the most fun cause I’d enjoy watching it waddle around and confuse my dog.
