Philips shavers and toothbrushes motivate us to care for ourselves. I am a huge advocate of their products: I’ve used Philips shavers my whole adult life. And for the past few years I’ve had cleaner, healthier teeth thanks to my Philips electric toothbrush. The benefits go well beyond looking better too. Enter this contest and if you win you too will understand why I never want to be without Philips.

Discover the importance of “me time” with Philips

How much time in a day to you set aside for personal care? I know some people do a better job at this than others; and, circumstance may have changed recently for many people, so they aren’t doing things like haircuts and dental visits as often. That should make setting some time for yourself each day even more important.

Many guys lately, me included, have been letting their facial hair grow lately. I don’t mind having a beard; I do mind when it is unkempt. With a Philips shaver or trimmer trimming and shaping your look would do more than just make you happier with your appearance. Putting yourself first for a few minutes each day will make you an overall happier, healthier person.

Finding personal time each day is easier with personal care tools

We all need to invest some time each day on ourselves to stay healthy and happy. One great thing about the new Philips electric toothbrushes is they tell you when you’ve brushed enough. Most people who get one learn immediately that they had not been taking enough time for oral hygiene. I realized very quickly after starting to use my Philips toothbrush that my whole mouth felt better and looked better as a result.

For this contest, I want you to think about how much time each day on average you actually spend on taking care of yourself. Then imaging if you won a prize in this contest and how using it for a few minutes each day might benefit you.

How to enter

Entering this contest is easy but you can only enter once. In a comment below, tell us how many minutes on average in a given day you spend on yourself and do you think this is enough, too little, or too much.

  1. I spend approximately 30 minutes on myself a day. Spending time on and with yourself is really something you can never have enough to time for. Living as your true self requires many hours of reflection especially with the constant changing world,

  2. I spend approx 20 min in morning and 20 min at night for the basics. When time a luxurious bubble bath takes about 45 min. Thanks for the chance.

  3. I am a minimalist so for me 20 minutes max is what I spend on myself. I feel that is enough for my needs.

  4. I spend about 30 minutes a day on myself, I know that is not enough but will have to do for now

  5. I spend 45 minutes to an hour on myself each day which I think is enough time for a daily routine.

  6. I spend about 40 minutes a day, 20 in the morning and 20 in the evening, but that is just doing basics like showering and brushing my teeth and washing my face. Self-care is so important especially during the current pandemic so I want to make more of an effort to engage in self-care.

  7. I might brush my hair, which takes anywhere between 1-5 minutes…depends on how long I’ve been rocking the mom bun.

  8. I spend between 50 minutes to an hour on myself total … this includes brushing my teeth 4 times daily

  9. I spend around 30-45 minutes and I am used to the routine that I think it is enough for me.

  10. I spend about 30 minutes every morning getting myself ready for the day. I think that’s a bit too much time so these products would help!

  11. If we’re talking personal grooming, I work from home so most days it’s about 20 minutes. If I’m going out, 45 minutes. I am fine with those numbers so yes think it’s enough. Thanks for the opportunity!

  12. My husband cuts his own hair and also our kids so this would be really nice to win. Good luck to everyone.

  13. I spend about 10 minutes a day on self-care. I’m sure my wife would prefer I shaved more often but it is time-consuming with a regular razor and shaving cream; if I had an electric razor it would allow me to save time shaving and I would shave more often.

  14. I spend around 25 minutes on myself for doing skincare, brushing/flossing, etc. I spend about an hour and a half each day for some excercise! 🙂

  15. I think I spend about 15 minutes tops, which is not enough. Making time for self-care is truly important!

  16. It’s normal for me to be about 20 minutes, and a few more if there are spots I missed. I’d so some the night before to shorten the morning ritual, but still need a little bit more time.

  17. I usually spend about 30-45 minutes each day, but it is not enough. Have to learn self care.

  18. Probably 20 minutes if I’m not getting ready for a special event. I totally get your comment about teeth brushing. Two minutes is much longer than we realize!

  19. On an average I spend 1.5 hours daily taking care of me 🙂 This includes a healthy breakfast/quiet time, exercise and personal grooming. Sometimes more, sometimes less depending on my schedule for the day…

  20. I usually spend about a half hour a day on personal care. If we are going out, it takes me about an hour to get ready. Since our kids have grown and are out on their own, I find I have much more time for myself, if I want to take it. Really, it is nice to have the option to do what I like, which is sometimes to go with my pj’s on all day and no makeup at all! Thanks for the super giveaway opportunity.

  21. I spend 90 minutes a day on myself which included a quiet cup of coffee alone before my demilitarized gets up. I think it’s the right amount of time. I need this time to reflect and get ready to face the day before my 2 munchkins hit the ground running.

  22. Hmmmm, I only spend about 15-20 minutes on myself on any given morning. I have a manual toothbrush which doesn’t clean half of what a Philips Sonicare Toothbrush, will in half the time! I spend too long brushing my teeth and tongue!

When I’m in the shower or bath I spend about 30-45 minutes especially if I have to shave…everywhere! If I had the Philips Total Boday Shave and Trim then I’d save loads of time! More time to spend with friends or walking my dog!

  23. These days I spend about 20 minutes on myself. It’s probably enough time as I’m staying at home due to Covid and I don’t like to wear makeup at home. On the weekend I might take a bit longer and pamper myself a bit.

  24. How many minutes a day I spend on myself…never thought about it as most days are never the same. I would guess about 30-45 mins. The Phillips sonicare toothbrush or the shavers would definitely speed up the personal prepping that someone else in the household seems to take forever!

  25. On the average day I spend zero time on myself which I know is not good but as a single mom with needy kids it’s how it is.

  26. I spend quite a bit on me tkme watching shows and relaxing I think it is need for good mental health.
