Enter for a chance to win Fisher Price Baby Gear

From Little People toys to bouncers to the iconic Chatter Telephone, Fisher-Price has been a mainstay of toys and baby gear for generations. Their mission is to enrich the lives of families, foster each child’s unique nature, and bring joy to generations with their wide range of products. This toy manufacturing giant has certainly achieved that; for myself, and for many other North Americans, the Fisher-Price name evokes nostalgia and a sense of comfort. Today, Best Buy is helping you bring that comfort to your own family with this contest. Read on to see how you could win a play yard, a high chair, and more.

Fisher-Price toys continue to delight

One of my absolute favourite toys growing up was my Fisher-Price kitchen set. It was technically my older sister’s, but as a curious toddler, ownership was a tenuous concept at best. My sister liked to organize the plastic fruit and veggies and pots in pans in perfect order—I liked to mess up that order. She ended up trying to tape the little cupboards closed, but it turns out scotch tape isn’t a very strong adhesive, and I continued to gleefully make my imaginary meals, as well as a mess. Even today we laugh about how passionate we were for that little play kitchen in our own ways.

That joy is something that Fisher-Price toys have never lost, even as they update their products. Remember the Chatter Telephone? Well, now you can get your kids their own play smartphone, the Laugh & Learn Smart Phone.

And the Little People Farm? Well, now they can race at towering heights with Take Turns Skyway,a three-foot tall bightly-coloured, musical race course that teaches kids to share and play together. They also offer the option to go really high-tech with the Think & Learn Teach ‘n Tag Movi, a robot with games that encourages children to explore the world around them.

Fisher-Price brings the same kind of innovation to their baby gear by combing elements that children love with the convenience parents need.

The On-the-Go Baby Dome can be used indoors or outdoors thanks to its sun-blocking visor and bug-stopping canopy. It folds flat and has handles, so taking it from your living room to the garden to grandmas is a cinch. Plus it includes brightly-coloured hanging toys to put a smile on your little one’s face.

The Deluxe Kick & Play Piano Gym entertains while teaching young minds about animals, numbers, colours, and shapes. The piano delights with its musical sounds and light up keys, and it’s also detachable, making the piano a great take-along toy. With its variety of textures, sounds, and shapes, sensory development is a key element of this toy.

If you have a smaller space, or just like to keep clutter at a minimum, the SpaceSaver high chair is ideal because offers all the benefits of a full-sized high chair in half the space. Its height and recline are adjustable so it adapts to your child from the ages of 6 months to 2 years, and it has a 5-point harness to keep your wriggly baby safe. Perhaps best of all for busy parents is that the seat, tray, and tray insert are all dishwasher-safe.

Joy for babies, simplicity for parents

Safety is a top priority, but Fisher-Price doesn’t forget that sometimes parents need a helping hand.

Take bedtime, for example. Bedtime can be snugly and sweet, but it can also be a bit exhausting and exasperating when your baby is feeling fussy. The Smart Connect Deluxe Soother will put the sweetness back in bedtime. It combines light projections and gentle sounds to soothe your little one to sleep, and because it connects to a smartphone or tablet, you can control settings without having to tiptoe back into the bedroom.

Likewise, the Premium Rock n’ Play Soothing Seat can be controlled from compatible devices. Designed as a spot for baby to nap, relax, and play, it includes up to 20 minutes of soothing sounds and music, as well as has vibrations and removable link toys for baby to bat at.

  1. So much a part of my childhood, Loved the castle as it had drawbridge and the secret plank that dropped into the dungeon

  2. Space Saver High Chair would be great for any of my children who are having babies. They all live in small spaces.

  3. My absolute favorite childhood toy from fisher-price would be the rock-a-stack. Simple, colorful, but loads of fun. I’m glad to see that they still make it, and I love that my nieces and nephews have had toys like it. I will certainly buy it for my own daughter.

  4. the “smart connect deluxe soother” looks amazing, my older daughter would have loved that as a baby/toddler!
