Printer on desk with headphones and notepadBack to school season means a change of pace for everyone, whether you’re headed into a new semester of university, sending little ones back to school, or running a business. While you’ve been getting ready for the season so have we. Since we know that printers are essential for back to school, we sent out Epson EcoTank wireless printers for review and now you have a chance to win one.

Epson EcoTank printers really do have Super Tanks

Ink in Epson PrinterOne of the best features of the Epson EcoTank printers is that they use ink tanks rather than cartridges. These tanks last up to up to 80 times longer than a traditional cartridge, offering about 2 years of printing. This means you don’t have constantly buy new cartridges or go through the infuriating experience of running out of ink when you have a deadline to meet. As someone who grew up with traditional cartridges, I’d like to take this time to apologize to my parents for late night ink-induced panics and also to thank the neighbours who let me use their printers. Truly, these were my childhood heroes.

We sent out these models to our bloggers for review, so they are already loaded up with ink and ready to go. It’s worth noting that both Shelley and Ted found the tanks easy to fill and nary a drop of ink spilled. You can read Ted’s review of the ET-3710 and Shelly’s review of the ET-2760 to find out more about each model.

Wireless printers that connect to a host of services

You can use Wi-Fi or the Epson app to connect these wireless printers to your phone or computer. This allows you to print, copy, and scan via the app, and even print photos directly from your phone. Shelly was a big fan of the Epson app and found it very user-friendly.

The printers are also compatible with Apple AirPrint and Google Cloud, as well as DropBox, OneDrive, Evernote, and Google Drive, which is handy when you’re scanning and saving files. They also offers remote printing, so you can email a document to the printer and it will print automatically. The printers also have screens and buttons to navigate the functions, so you aren’t tied to your device to use them.

HOW TO ENTER

Entering is easy, but you can only enter once! In a comment below, tell us how one of these printers would help you in the back to school season! Maybe you work from home and are tired of finicky cartridges or perhaps you have a child who is always running out of ink for their school projects.

WHAT YOU CAN WIN

At the end of this contest, we will randomly select four winners from all eligible entries. Two winners will receive the Epson EcoTank ET-2760 Inkjet Printer and two will receive the Epson EcoTank ET-3710 Inkjet Printer.

This contest runs from to September 10th to 24th.

Remember, you only get a single entry, but that doesn’t mean your friends and family can’t enter as well. Back to school is a season for everyone (even if the only change for you is the increased traffic on the road) so share this chance for some home office improvements!

  1. Our inkjet printer is constantly running out of ink and the cartridges are expensive to replace.
Winning one of these awesome printers would give us peace of mind printing out school projects & notes,
travel tickets, parking passes, income tax forms & tax receipts, pictures, cards, etc.

  2. My son just stated high school and has so many new responsibilities. A new printer and the ability to print school work at home will make his transition into high school just a bit easier.

  3. This would be great for my grandchildren in school as whenever I buy cartridges it seems as if I’m paying more for them than for the entire printer.

  4. My son would use this for his projects and assignments as well as printing text books for school. thank you for the opportunity

  5. My old printer strains to keep up when my teacher wife starts to teach in the fall. The cost go through the roof. Make mine an Ecotank to save on costs

  6. My wife and I both work from home. Having a wireless printer would allow us both to share a single device instead of each having a printer in our office, like we do now!

  7. The printer would be highly useful because my school charges for printing and as a graduate student, I print, on average, 100 pages per week. I spend ridiculous amount of money every week. Having a printer would make it easier and cost effective.

  8. I am an early childhood educator so the printer gets lots of use. One of my biggest expenses is the ink cartridges. This printer would be so awesome to have. Great!

  9. Print documents, reports and photos from home. Everything I print is in black and white, because that is the only way to print cheaply, colour is expensive and doesn’t last long.

  10. I have a son in middle school and a daughter in high school, they always have so many projects and reports to print.

  11. Running out of ink sucks. We print assignments, projects and photos for the kids for school. We also print to do lists for everyone in the house, otherwise things don’t get done.

  12. This would be helpful for our daughter who is a teacher. And teachers are always printing tests and handouts for their students. She could certainly put this printer to good use. Thanks for the chance.

  13. I have fours sons at home: One in University, two in College, and one in High School. Imagine how much ink our printers go through printing all of their assignments. We need this printer!

  14. Course work, articles, essays, creative writing, photos, plans and recipes – we are actively creative and always printing off a project.

  15. This would be a perfect printer for printing reports and assignments for my three kids. Thanks for the opportunity.

  16. here we can’t live without a printer and yes we always run out of ink, it’s not my neighbord that i run to but my sister 15 miles from here! it would be great for the family! Thank you

  17. It would be great to have a reliable printer that is not always out of ink, or stating offline although it isn’t. There are 3 of us using for school work assignments and is always a stressful situation when it doesn’t work properly.

  18. I need a personal printer. When my boss (mother) heads towards the shared printer, my brother prints a handful of resumes.
