  1. I used to be a Purist, but a change in jobs has me working on the road. I’d consider myself casual now as my desktop is left at home and can only get my game on a few days of the month. The Zephyrus is my dream, it’d allow me to get some much needed gaming in after a long day of work.

  11. Easily a gaming purist. I’ve been through the ringer building desktops and fixing/upgrading laptops trying to get the most amount of performance. I’d say that Best Buy + Intel is always the best route to go for superior gaming performance. Right now I’m eyeing the HP OMEN 15.6″ Gaming Laptop (Intel Core i7-9750H/1TB SSD/16GB RAM/GeForce RTX 2060). I’ve always wanted to play Half Life Alyx but I just don’t have the power to run it. This is the laptop I need.

I fit into the casual gamer category, and the PC at my house is too outdated to play Magic the Gathering Arena – which is a game I’d really like to play, but currently can’t (I would especially like to play this game in our new reality of self isolating – I hope everyone is well!). I play the older Harry Potters, SIMS, Rollercoaster Tycoon. More recently I’ve played/really enjoyed Stardew Valley, Oxenfree, and OneShot. The built in cooling options sound really amazing on both of the laptops, I think being in the casual gamer category the Alienware m15 15.6″ Laptop (Intel Core i7-9750H/512GB SSD/16GB RAM/GTX 1660 Ti) would be absolutely amazing.

  20. I see myself as a pragmatist. I have built my own systems since highschool from other people’s outdated parts. I would definitely would like to have a top of the line pc for once, like the Acer Gaming PC with Intel i7-9700K and RTX 2080 to experience maxed out settings on games for a change.

    • I’ve long been a pragmatic gamer bordering on purist. I’ve built several gaming machines earlier in my gaming life and then moved to a solid and steady Asus gaming laptop 6-7 years ago. Best machine I could have purchased. Minimal upgrades and still runs well outside of gpu needs. Would love to upgrade but needs to be balanced with the rest of life and gaming fit around other technological needs of our age. After my last machine would always return to the Asus brand

  26. I would say I was an Enthusiast gamer till college and now just casual gamer but still know alot about PC hardware. I still game on my almost 5year old Asus ROG G751 with 970m. All the AAA titles still works on it but only at medium settings. I love to upgrade to Zephyrus S Thin. Because I like the name Zephyrus. I think it’s a dope name for a laptop and would like to stay in the same family of laptops.

  31. I am a Pragmatist. I do enjoy getting some time to playing RPGs, occasional MMO and MOBA. I enjoyed games with great story telling or game mechanics such as bioshock, witcher and final fantasy series. A gaming laptop such as the alienware m15 would be a nice gift.
