How does the BenQ Zowie XL2566K gaming monitor elevate your game? Simply put, it offers a clearer and faster screen than your competitors have. The fact is, no one plays games with the intention to lose. Do you? Of course not. Neither do your competitors. Getting top gear is one way to get a competitive edge. And this monitor we are giving away in this contest is “Top Gear!” Learn more about it then enter for a chance to win.

BenQ delivers clear sharp images thanks to the 360Hz TN display

You are at a serious advantage when gaming with an incredible display. BenQ has put an amazing gaming display in the monitor we are giving away. Take some time to read the honest review by Chris Loblaw on the blog. He discusses assembling, setting it up, and configuring the monitor.  Chris also explains some of the key features to look for in a gaming monitor like “clarity,” “sharpness,” and “smoothness.” Read why this monitor will make your gaming, even FPS gaming, faster than before. If you are neck and neck with your competitors, this monitor might be just what you need to push you over the edge!

Chris also speaks to the design features of the monitor. The VESA mount allows you to attach it to any standard monitor mount (we reviewed several on the blog recently). The shielding hood protects your screen from unwanted light sources, reducing the likelihood of distraction. The standout feature, however, is the 360Hz refresh rate: currently one of the fastest refresh rates available!

BenQ does their research so you get tailored colours for each game

Settle in for a gaming experience designed to make each game look better. BenQ takes gaming very seriously. Through extensive research they have found the best settings used by real gamers like yourself for individual games. They used this information to create “Colour Modes,” and they make these modes available to everyone. Now you can simply download the colour settings based on the game you wish to play. BenQ recognizes that colour preference is subjective but advise you might want to use the suggest Colour Mode as a baseline or starting point to finding the settings for your tastes.

BenQ also made it easier to adjust settings. Chris went over this feature in his review: an easy to use, convenient 5-way S switch. It’s much better than clicking a tiny switch somewhere at the bottom of the monitor. The experience is more similar to using a mouse to navigate the options and selecting the ones for you.

Think about it: will this monitor make you a better gamer than the people you play against. It might. And, you might win it simply by entering this contest.

How to enter

Entering this contest is easy and you can enter in three different ways.

  1. In a comment below, tell us what games you love would be the best test for the ultra-fast refresh rate of this monitor and why.
  2. In a comment below Chris Loblaw’s review of this monitor, tell us two features that he discusses that you think are the most important for your needs.
  3. Visit the product page for this monitor and find the specification section on that page that looks like the image here to the right. Then, in an email to bestbuyblog@bestbuycanada.ca with the subject line, “BenQ monitor contest” tell us exactly what missing information takes the place of the question mark.

What you can win

At the end of this contest, we will randomly select one eligible entry to receive the same BenQ Zowie XL2566K gaming monitor that Chris used for his review on the blog.

This contest runs from April 27th to May 11th

Remember you can enter in three different ways. This is the kind of contest you might want to keep to yourself (so your competitor never find out!). However, don’t keep it to yourself. Tell the many non-gamer friends and family to enter for you. For example, tell your grandma! You might be surprised to find out she already entered—we get a lot of contest entries from grandmas on the Best Buy Blog. Perhaps, very nicely, let her know that if she wins you will sweep the moss from her roof, power-wash her driveway, and change the oil in her car for the opportunity to use it from time to time.

  1. I’ll test Deathloop because I want to try on the monitor for more mouse sensitivity instead of Xbox controller

  2. I want to see Diablo IV on this monitor, the high refresh rate would be great for dealing with all those mobs….

  3. The high refresh rate would be great when playing Gran Turismo 7 so there is no lag and the images would be much clearer.

  4. I’m still old school and love my Tetris and Mario. The refresh rate would be important to me.

  5. For high refresh rates, competitive FPS games like CS:GO, Overwatch, and Rainbow Six Siege would be beneficial as they require quick reaction times and precise movements. The 360Hz BenQ panel would provide a significant advantage in terms of smoothness over other slower alternative monitors.

  6. I like Forza Motorsport 8 and I think it would be good for this monitor because not only does it support 360HZ, I think it would also do the graphics justice

  10. I think it would be exciting so much fun to use the Microsoft Flight Simulator on this computer. It would make the game more exciting.

  11. I play very few games and currently am only playing Starcraft. I would love to see this played on a bigger screen.
