BenQ 27" PD2700U - designer monitor

Computer monitors, like the many created by BenQ, are an essential part of our daily life for work and play. We all love a large, clear, vivid display when working or playing games. Visual artists, especially, need a well-calibrated designer monitor that delivers an accurate representation of colours. BenQ is a brand creatives are familiar with and have trusted through the years. You can check out the selection of great BenQ monitors online at Best Buy, then enter for a chance to win the amazing 27 inch 4k designer monitor shown above.

BenQ designer monitors are perfect for every visual artist.

This monitor is perfect for someone who relies on delivering quality visual products. BenQ DesignVue Designer Monitor is sharp, bright, good contrast, and pre-calibrated out of the box, this monitor is made for artists. In a different article, I talked about how editing can improve your photography instantly. When editing photos it is important that you are using a calibrated monitor to make sure that your colours and contrast represent the photo exactly how you want. Having a 4K monitor also helps you see all the details in your photos and gives you a higher appreciation of photography, especially if you are using a high megapixel camera where it captures every single detail on its frame.

DualView Setting

One of the features that I love about this monitor is the DualView setting. This allows you to split the monitor into 2 different colour profiles. Features like that make a monitor like this help professionals create high quality digital and printed products by showing what the photo would look like on print or on different screens, so your work will look consistent where ever you see it.

What else can a great monitor do for you?

Other than editing photos, videos, or creating graphic arts, this monitor is also great for watching movies or simply just doing an everyday task like emailing, setting up your website, or writing. It has HDMI & DisplayPort which allows you to connect it to your computer and do another device, perfect for working and switching it to a console game monitor when you need a break. Jacob made a review about this exact same monitor where he gets into more details about this monitor.

  3. I would use the monitor for reading, doing homework, and working on a spreadsheet at the same time. It would make schoolwork and learning more efficient.

  4. I would love to watch some old movies on this lovely piece of equipment – as a Senior, the old eyes don’t work too well on old equipment anymore, which I currently have. Great contest – many thanks.

  5. use it for photography/cinematography and it’s way better than my non-HD monitor that is 11 years-old, because it has 4K which is amazing!!

  6. I will use this monitor to enjoy movies, work, multitasking and some gaming. It would be so much better my current monitor because it’s ancient and half the size. I’m crossing my fingers for this one!

  7. I will use this monitor for emails. movies and gaming. The BenQ DesignVue 27 will help my eye sight from not squinting soo much and I won’t have to try and figure out what color it is anymore. :p

  8. I will use it to keep track of my financials, including creating invoices/banking and it’s a lot bigger than my current 15″ monitor. Thank you

  9. I’d use this monitor as a secondary monitor, with my laptop, to give me more screen real estate 🙂

  10. I would use this awesome monitor for all my internet searching, gaming and Skyping with my Kids and Grandkids, My current monitor is about 10 years old stills works okay but doesn’t have a quality picture. I’m so behind the times.

  11. Dear Noah,

I would use the BenQ Professional Monitor for simulation, CAD, and designing software. It offers features specific to designing software and also offers a high resolution.

The BenQ is better than my current monitor, as it would make working with 4K images and videos much more comfortable.

  12. I would use this monitor to create graphic cards and it would be so nice to have a monitor with better resolution than my old laptop

  13. Following the break down of my old monitor I would use this as a welcome replacement. It’s a bit difficult to run an online business without a monitor!!

  14. It would be great for me to edit photos with especially since it has 4k. My eyes are getting worse with age…it would be so much nicer to be clearer and larger then my current one.

  15. I would use it to colour correct video, it’s very accurate and better than inaccurate display

  16. I will use this monitor to do my spreadsheets, as it’s much larger than my current monitor.

  17. I would use this monitor for everything including arranging all my files, editing photos, checking emails, internet surfing, etc. I am still using an old CRT monitor and this would take up a whole lot less space on my desk and would be easier to see.
