Back to school means packed lunches, bake sales and class parties. With a busy fall schedule, baking is a fun way to spend time with your kids. Bond over chocolate and give your kids some added sweetness to their days.

What makes up a well-stocked kitchen? I’d have to say it depends the person cooking in it. Although we all have our favourite must-use kitchen gadgets, some people like to use kitchen tools every day that other people may never have heard of. But out of the plethora of cool kitchen gadgets available, there are a few gadgets I think we can all universally agree are absolutely essential to a happy, well-run kitchen.

For me, one of the most stressful parts of back to school is figuring out what to pack in their lunch kits. This year I’m getting a jump on things by creating a list of lunches that are cute, creative, and will be something they enjoy eating.

Last week, I wrote about how ergonomically designed office chairs are essential to rear-end comfort and back health.     Let me just start by saying that I can’t sing. At. All.   My family has asked me to stop on numerous occasions when I’ve been belting out the soundtrack from Frozen, but sometimes you just can’t help it. I’ve always loved school. In fact, throughout my entire pre-university academic career, I was what you would call a teacher’s pet. So much so, that at the end of every summer, while most kids were bemoaning the start of another school year, I was sitting on my bedroom floor, surrounded by new school supplies, getting organized for the first day of class. Yup, I was that girl. But not everyone is as school-supply obsessed as I was.
