Shopping can be fun, especially when you find what you are looking for. We are all on the lookout for the best deals, especially at this time of year and you know that Best Buy Boxing Day sales will have plenty of deals. In the spirit of keeping vigilant for great deals, we’ve prepared this fun contest. Our head office building staff put together an amazing Christmas village display: along the train track are some Best Buy gift cards. Watch the video as the Best Buy train travels through the village and look very carefully—there are four Best Buy gift cards placed strategically. Get inspired to give the tech they’ll love

Gifting inspiration comes in many ways. Sometimes a casual conversation with your mom sparks an idea that turns into a perfect gift for her. Perhaps you saw an advertisement, or a TikTok video, and knew immediately that your sister would love that item. On the blog we prepared a 12 days of Christmas series of articles to inspire you with some of the best tech we tested on the blog this past year. Check it out and you might find something new and exciting for someone on your list (or for yourself!).

A Best Buy gift card is a gift of choice

Okay so you’ve searched and searched but just can’t decide what to give someone on your list. That’s one of the best reasons to get a gift card. It’s like gifting an experience: they’ll peruse the Best Buy aisle in store, or the endless aisle at Best Buy online, to find the tech they need. Perhaps it’s a mouse for better productivity in 2024, or they’ll put the card towards a new mobile phone or laptop! The possibilities are endless when you give the gift of choice. And if you enter this contest, you might win one of four $100 Best Buy gift cards.

How to enter

Entering this contest is easy and you can enter in two different ways:

  1. Watch the video, then in an email to bestbuyblog@bestbuycanada.ca with the subject line “Best Buy Christmas Train Contest” tell us at least one place within the Christmas Village where you saw a gift card. Do not put that information in a comment on the blog: you must send it in an email.
  2. Look at the selection of 12 days of Christmas articles, and in a comment below this contest tell us which of those articles has the tech you would love to receive this Christmas (you can mention more than one in your comment). Also tell us why you like that tech.

What you can win

At the end of this contest, we will randomly select four winners from all eligible entries. Each of the winners will receive a $100 Best Buy eGift Certificate that can be used online or in a store.

This contest runs from Dec 15th to Dec 28th.

  3. 12 days of Christmas Day 2 is Samsung NeoQLED TV is the most relevant to me. My TV is very old and has a backlight issue that makes it hard to see/watch, so I need a new one. The Samsung NeoQLED looks great!

  6. Santa’s already been here, but I would have loved to receive the Day 2 – Samsung QN90C NeoQLED 4K TV. This would be several steps-up and a wonderful replacement for my really old LCD HDTV, as good as it’s been, touch wood.

  8. The day 7 ASUS ROG Ally portable console is the tech that I would love to receive this Christmas. The advancement of portal gaming devices has really come a long a way. This portable gaming console allows one to bring the PC gaming scene on the road in a convenient manner that can’t be achieved with a laptop.

  10. We need a better (newer) TV, so Day 2 – Samsung QN90C NeoQLED 4K TV has the tech I would love to receive. Samsung tech like the Smart Hub makes it easy to switch settings, open apps, and stream content to the TV and the Samsung Gaming Hub would make it easier for the boys to play their games.

  11. Day 9 worth the electric scooter because it would help get around easily without needing the car and when somewhere is too fast to walk!

  28. Day 7 is ASUS for work or fun- I have/had a ASUS laptop for many years and I loved it sadly it is at end of life, I would buy this brand again with no worries.

    Day 6 – BenQ projector this is perfect for inside and out we would also use it to play movies of all the seasonal holidays in the windows for the kids in the area.
