LG has several new home appliances coming to Best Buy for both the laundry room and kitchen, all of which have one crucial thing in common: they focus on energy efficiency with ENERGY STAR certification. This 2024 line includes stylish options that feature modern, high-tech features so you can keep up with the latest in technology innovation.
There are two new laundry items along with a new range and a new induction cooktop to take your cooking to the next level.

LG has two innovations coming to the laundry room. The first is a washer/dryer combo machine, one of the trendiest new options, and the other is a new WashTower vertical solution. Both employ space-saving designs along with energy efficient features.
LG WashCombo
The new LG WashCombo model WM6998HBA (available in a crisp white finish as well as black steel) boasts inverter HeatPump technology that LG claims delivers quiet operation. With an ample 5.7 cubic-foot capacity, the washer/dryer combo can fit more clothes along with larger items like duvets and comforters. The ezDispense system, meanwhile, can hold enough detergent and fabric softener for 18-31 loads. It automatically dispenses as needed, so you can literally set and forget.
Further adding to the tech-savvy nature of this machine is Wi-Fi connectivity. Connect it to the innovative LG ThinQ app and you’ll receive an alert on your phone letting you know when the load is done or when you need to refill the dispenser. I use the LG ThinQ app with my washer and dryer and love being able to check on the wash or dry status from the comfort of my couch, or even while running errands away from home.
Longer dry times is a typical drawbacks of washer/dryer combo machines, so the fact that this machine can accomplish both in under two hours is a big deal. It allows families to get more loads done, one at a time, without putting laundry day at a standstill while you wait for the machine to finish a cycle.
There are lots of benefits of a single washer/dryer combo machine. Naturally, since both tasks are accomplished in a single machine, the WashCombo saves space. This makes it a great option for apartments, condos, or smaller homes. Even if you do have the space, you can renovate to make use of the now extra floor space. LG 27-inch WashTower

Another advantage is that the dryer is at eye level. This makes it easier to add and remove items without having to bend down. That’s something those with mobility issues, the elderly, taller people, or people with sore joints will appreciate.

LG induction slide-in range
If you’re looking to upgrade your range, the LG induction slide-in range, model LSIL6332FE, is not your standard range. LG says this range (along with the induction cooktop) are the first residential cooking products to adhere to the new ENERGY STAR specifications. That’s according to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) data from November 2023.
Along with an interior oven and cooktop surface with burners, it’s hiding innovative tech inside. There’s a dedicated Air Fry mode. You can free up counterspace without needing a separate air fryer while still cooking delicious and indulgent dishes. They are healthier with the same crispy texture as deep frying, without all the oil. The ProBake Convection oven moves the heating element from the bottom to the back.
