oculus quest 2 untethered gamingAn Oculus Quest 2 is real entertainment like you’ve never experienced before. Whether it’s watching a movie, playing a game, or exploring a new travel destination, you will not believe how close you get to being part of the action. This is definitely one of the hottest entertainment/gaming devices of the year, and we are very happy to be able to offer two as prizes in this contest.

Oculus Quest 2 is virtual reality with no strings attached

Finally VR has become what we all thought it was to begin with. You see, VR promised to allow us to feel like we are in a different place or time. Some do this better than others, and some, like the original Oculus, have been quite amazing. However, it’s hard to totally immerse yourself in a game or movie when an attached cable keeps tugging you back to the real world. That’s one of the immediate advantages of the Oculus Quest 2: with no tether, no attached cable, you quickly lose yourself—the virtual environment essentially becomes the real world for you!

  1. This could be great for exercise as well. Especially now that is wireless. Free movement and fun gaming.

  2. I love that I don’t need an expensive computer to run the system & I would definitely use it for gaming. Thanks you.

  3. I love the portable function on this unit. Would love to play flight combat and driving games with this!

  4. 1. I love that it’s wireless
    2. This would really change the game for gaming, but I would love to try it for some of my favourite movies to really feel like I’m transported there

  5. Like their website say “Unplug and Play for Real”! “NO WIRES. NO LIMITS. NEXT-LEVEL GAMING.” Will use it for gaming.

  6. Love that the Quest 2 still has the complete stand alone function. Makes it great for a truly immersive experience by not having the feeling of being tethered to your computer.

What I would want to use it for is play high intensity movement based games as a way to get some more exercise in which I’ve been due past needing

  7. I love that there’s no need for a gaming PC but if you have one you can also have them work together!

If I win I’d use it for lots of gaming and watching videos in VR!

  8. I think the thing I love most about the oculus quest 2 is the way it changes how gaming is traditionally done. It’s a much more active and immersive experience!

I would use it to both game some vr titles while also playing some of the VR health oriented games to be a bit more active in doors while having fun.

  9. Not having to have a separate PC setup for VR makes it way easier to use. So I love the ease of use.

I want to try VR FPS games and social spaces like Rec Room or VR chat.

  10. I’d use it for gaming obviously! Beat Saber is a classic but I’m really interesting in checking out Star Wars: Squadrons in VR! Looks awesome!

  11. 1) No PC or console needed; just open the box, set up with the smartphone app and jump into VR
    2) Definitely for gaming!

  12. My father-in-law just bought one and has been raving about it. He says it’s the future. Would love to try one out!

  13. 1. No cables would be great in my limited gaming space, with a young child that is constantly moving through the room as well. He wouldn’t trip over the cords.
    2. I would use it to finally catch up on one of the biggest releases this year. Half Life Alyx

  14. The wireless capabilities make it great for gaming in small spaces,
And I love the ability to play games anywhere, especially games like superhot that requires movement that make cables difficult to move with.

  15. It’s amazing I love how it’s all in one unit and it’s great for watching movies. And it brings gaming to a whole other level.

  16. The no wore feature would be awesome and would really allow you to get into what your doing with the VR I can imagine gamers especially would love this feature. I myself would use it more for movies but some gaming as well. Well done!!!
