oculus quest 2 untethered gamingAn Oculus Quest 2 is real entertainment like you’ve never experienced before. Whether it’s watching a movie, playing a game, or exploring a new travel destination, you will not believe how close you get to being part of the action. This is definitely one of the hottest entertainment/gaming devices of the year, and we are very happy to be able to offer two as prizes in this contest.

Oculus Quest 2 is virtual reality with no strings attached

Finally VR has become what we all thought it was to begin with. You see, VR promised to allow us to feel like we are in a different place or time. Some do this better than others, and some, like the original Oculus, have been quite amazing. However, it’s hard to totally immerse yourself in a game or movie when an attached cable keeps tugging you back to the real world. That’s one of the immediate advantages of the Oculus Quest 2: with no tether, no attached cable, you quickly lose yourself—the virtual environment essentially becomes the real world for you!

  1. I love the endless possibilities. I’d use it for gaming and work. as a travel agent I could use oculus to promote destinations to clients better than what pictures can do.

  2. I was the 80s kid who played Pong on my “Trash 80”, graduated to Pac-Man arcades, years later to Second Life, and now I’m on the Oculus Quest! I can’t even believe the strides technology has achieved it’s unbelievable and VR blows me away. I love the games but even more the experiences. I have attended basketball games, boxing, and I’ve traveled the world while in quarantine! I would love another Oculus quest to give to my parents who live hundreds of miles away so that we can travel together.

  3. Love that it’s a device on its own and requires no computer to use but I will use it with a gaming laptop I bought recently to take full advantage of the VR universe. When not plugged in I’m still able to enjoy playing some pretty awesome games too which I’m looking forward to.

  4. I love that the oculus quest 2 is completely wireless allowed you to play anywhere anytime. I also love how it’s very modular allowing plenty of aftermarket parts, mods, and upgrades. I also love that you can side load games via side quest allowing you to play tons of free or very cheap games that are still really good. It also allows you to play more experimental games and experiences like hand tracking games or games that adapt to your play space. I would use the quest 2 to play tons of VR games like vader immortal and population: one and a bunch of side quest games like pavlov shack and tea for God.

  5. I’ll would try to share this experience with everyone I can and try to experience everything possible in vr

  7. Love the look and the tether free experience it brings, can’t wait to play some games in with my friends, especially with the link capability!

  8. Been a fan of VR since the 90’s, early adopter since 2014 with the Oculus DK2, the Quest 2 is the ideal example of all that research and innovation distilled in one product. To be not tethered, to interact directly within a virtual environment, to be literally In the Game. Fully changes the way you experience any game, period.

  9. I personally love vr and have always been obsessed with the idea of VR since I was a child. I am 30 years old, and am currently developing mobile/pc games and have a vr project we are also currently working on. With the oculus quest I would not only have fun playing games like beat saber, half life, star wars, and the walking dead but I would also be able to utilize the oculus as a tool for developing games. I hope to win this oculus and expand my gaming experience.

  10. I love how it is easy to use, no wires or plugs to deal with vs. the PSVR I currently have. I plan to purchase a gaming PC for VR gameplay!

  11. I would use this for many things, including gaming and VR media. For someone like me who has issues with heights, deep water etc, this is a great way to experience some things in life I would never otherwise be able to. It would be amazing to own one of these, especially around Christmas time.

  12. Wireless would make it great for the kids to play games use and bring with them….and I’m sure if watch some movies 🙂

  13. I love how slim it is and how versatile it can be. Some of my friends have it and say it is great. I would use this to game on with my younger brothers. It would be an awesome surprise for them for Christmas.

  15. I have wanted a VR headset for a long time and this one looks so cool! I would use it for gaming and movies.

  16. I love that it’s a self contained device that does not require your phone or PC to use, but is also capable of playing PC VR games. I was given a VR capable desktop 2 years ago, but haven’t made the plunge in a headset.

  17. I’ve been purposely not buying population: one so I can get the best experience from the quest 2. I’m also excited to not see the individual pixels.

  18. I really love how easy it is to share this VR with friends and family. I would take it to my family get togethers and have hours of fun.

  19. Would absolutely love a VR. We would use it for games and movies. Love that it’s wireless and it’s options and capabilities.

  21. I love the option of either playing onboard games without a cable, or connecting to my PC for PCVR games.

    • Love using VR for flight simulation and race simulation. Its actually allowing me to teach my children about aviation real time without the cost of actually going up in an aircraft. Also love using it for education purposes! Love that the quest is wireless but can be linked as well.

  22. I like the Oculus Quest 2 because I can take it anywhere. The 1 feature that stands out is the fact that it is wireless and does not need a pc to run but can also connect to a PC to provide more powerful processing and streaming capabilities. I would love to expand my gaming and streaming experiences to VR as well as allow my viewers that VR experience!

I would use it for gaming, streaming and try out a few movies too.

  23. I would like the Oculus Vr Headset to play games with my LDR im entering this as a chance to win one for him, its been hard for us to find games to play together that will let us interact with one another so vr is our path to play

  24. I would use the Oculus quest 2 for both movies and games. Just now reading more into it’s uses when possibly connected to a PC. It has the potential to help with the virtual learning for my children as well.

  25. Sa fait des années que je suis passionné par la realite et jadorerai pouvoir un Oculus quest 2 pour faire du gaming

  26. I never once tried VR, but seen the improvements of the technology.

Many recent VR exclusive games caught my eyes than the ones released in previous years. I mainly would play games if I got my hands on VR headset.

  27. Awesome how portable it is! Would love to watch movies with my brother on it. I heard you can connect online with anyone anywhere that has one.
