Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Alternatively, it may be a recently released game that was demoed at last year’s show. This may be the year when you discover something new that quickly becomes a new favourite. Microsoft became so popular in the 2000s and that’s all thanks to the Halo franchise. Halo is the only reason I bought an Xbox One and it’s the only reason I am excited for E3 this year. At a previous E3 they announced Halo Infinite along with the new Slipspace engine and I couldn’t be more excited to see what they say about the new game this year. After 343 Studios took over they made a lot of cosmetic changes like the designs of guns or how Master Chief looks but apparently they are going back to the original designs for the new one. This nostalgia is going to consume me. I cannot wait to see what happens this year at E3.
I cant wait for Nintendo’s announcement on the new Pokemon games. I have been a fan since it started and i cant wait to see some new mons.
Why is everyone sleeping on the new Beyond Good and Evil?
I am most excited for the release of Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint PS4 game later this year. Have played Ghost Recon Wildlands for hours with my friends and grew up with the series so there’s a strong element of nostalgia. The updated gaming mechanics look very promising too. Thanks!
Excited for Cyberpunk 2077 for PC. CD Projekt Red did a great job on the Witcher 3, hoping this will even be better!

Metroid Prime 4 from Retro Studios
I’m looking forward to the new consoles coming out and the games that come out with these consoles, gives me something to look forward to in expanding the gaming in my household. My boys are really into PS4 and Nintendo. So it gives me an idea of what I can look forward to in expanding our gaming library. <- that’s a heart emoji if you’re curious.
I can’t wait for Star Wars Jedi: fallen order by Respawn and EA. I’ve loved Star Wars a for as long as I remember and I’m looking forward to a good story and driven experience.

Very excited for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (Respawn & EA). Star Wars is a franchise I simply cannot get enough of.
The most recent announcement for Death Stranding including the release date and an 8 minute demo/trailer has got me extremely excited! Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions have been super secretive of the game and its story for years, providing little snippets that leave you guessing more so than understanding what’s actually going on. I pre-ordered it last June and now can’t wait to finally play it this November!
For E3, my most anticipated game is Cyberpunk 2077 from the creators of Witcher 3, CD Projekt Red. The almost hour long gameplay from last years E3 sold me on this game and can’t wait to see what else is in store for this project!
The 2019 gaming announcement about the Marvel Avengers game by The Square Enix E3 has me super excited is because I am such a fan of the franchise! I am excited to see how the characters translates to the gaming world and how the story line plays out.
The Last of Us Part 2. I know there’s no official release date yet but I am super optimistic that there will be a big reveal at E3 this year! I bought a PS3 just so I could play the original game and it is still the best game I’ve ever played. I’ll be buying a PS4 just to play the sequel as soon as it comes out! 🙂

I’m really looking forward to Nintendo’s Super Mario Maker 2 for the Switch.! I’ve loved the Super Mario series as a kid ever since I got my gameboy. I can’t wait to finally build my own levels to play with friends.

Excited for borderlands 3 for PS4. Just bought mortal Kombat 11 from Best Buy coincidentally. Favourite game out this year is days gone was waiting two years as it kept getting postponed but finally released this year love the zombie games resident evil being my favourite game series for 15 years running.
I’m looking forward for anything regarding capcoms marvel vs capcom franchise. I love the series and now they might have the rights back for the X-men characters to be put in the games
CRASH TEAM RACING NITRO FUELED. I am so excited for this remake. It’s the best cart game made! Better than Mario Kart. The amount of time I played this game as a child on ps1 shows how awesome it is. Can’t wait for the revamp!

I am so excited for Pokémon Sword and Shield announced by both Nintendo and Pokémon. I’ve played every game since Pokémon yellow on my gameboy and can’t wait for the next one.
Looking forward to a couple of games that will be released soon. first Madden 19 I’ve always been a big madden fan and this year they are finally adding something we’ve been asking for, superstar mode(Face of the franchise). Looking forward to trying it out and have high expectations. Second game is call of duty: modern warfare, I’m hoping for a fun story line that’ll keep me at the edge of my seat, we didn’t get much of a story mode with BO4, so definitely looking forward to that!
Super pumped to hear Nintendo’s announcement about the remake of Link’s Awakening and Luigi’s Haunted Mansion 3. I love playing these classic characters in new games with my kids.

I’m most excited about this because Gears of War is my favourite gaming franchise and I can’t wait to hear a official release date so I can pre-order and buy it as soon as it comes out.
For me I’m super excited by the new announcement of the expanded Xbox Game Pass service on Xbox and PC. I mostly play on Xbox, but have quite a few friends who play on PC, and the opportunity for us to play games together on Xbox live cross play together is amazing, especially when we can get access to a tonne of games with just the Game Pass subscription (though Forza Horizon 4 will probably be the one we get the most mileage out of….pun sort of intended). AMD’s announcement of the new Ryzen processors with crazy core counts, all core boost clocks and for relatively cheap is also nothing but good news for gamers this year. Cheers!

I am most excited for what Capcom will show us for Monster Hunter World Iceborne, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC!
The new marvel avengers game is what I’m hoping the most for.
However I’m also excited to see some new Pokémon sword and shield gameplay at Nintendo!
I’m also looking forward to see any hardware updates for VR headsets, mainly from Vive!
I am super excited about Pokémon sword and shield that are coming out at the end of the year be game freak. Have been waiting for a new Pokémon game for the switch since it came out. Nintendo and Pc are the way to go in gaming.
I’ve enjoyed the Tom Clancy’s series from the early 2000s and the announcement on the Division 2 by by Ubisoft at E3 2019 for the PS4 and game release is something I’m looking forward to. It is exciting to have a new game added to the series on a yearly basis due to the intense and immersive experience it allows to live once it’s released. Can’t wait to play the game. Same goes with the announcement of Ghost Recon Breakpoint by Ubisoft for PS4 if you’re fan of first person shooters, hopefully it will match the experience we had with Wildlands.
