Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Honestly what I am most looking forward to this year would be Gears 5 from Epic Games, when I got my first Xbox 360 it was one of the first games I played and I’ve been playing every gears of war since the first and when I saw the gears 5 trailer I was excited because it was about 2 years since the fourth instalment of the series was released.
I am so looking forward to more info coming out on Pokémon sword and shield and the new animal crossing game!!!
My favorite event this year is going to have the be the DLC announcements for Nintendo’s Smash Ultimate. Bringing third party characters to the switches port of Smash is going to be awesome. I’m hoping Steve from Minecraft is going to be one of the new DLC Fighters!!
I am, so excited by the release of the Oculus Quest VR system…. The quality and versatility that it provides, brings us to a whole new dimention of freedom, immersion and excitement of the gaming experience.
I’m super stoked for The Elder Scrolls VI! I’ve been playing TES for a good 7 years now since I started with Skyrim, went out and bought a computer just so I could play ALL OF THEM on PC through TES: Anthology and I’ve been playing The Elder Scrolls Online for good few years now as well! The story of The Elder Scrolls has been one of my absolute favourites and I KNOW that Bethesda will is going to make The Elder Scrolls VI not just an amazing game but an amazing story for players to live and breathe in!
I’m pretty excited for any Nintendo announcement. I have been playing their games since I was 3 years old (the nes). I’m excited for the Luigi Mansion 3, Links awakening , and Mario maker 2.
I like the new Razer Blade gaming laptop from The company Razer. It runs very fast and has the power to run pretty much any game on the market, while also being slim enough to fit in a backpack and take with you wherever you go.
I am looking forward to Bethesda’s Doom Eternal game play demos at E3 and hope for a release date announcement. I played the original ’93 Windows version and have been a fan ever since.
I am super excited for the announcement of the remake of Zelda Link’s Awakening on Nintendo Switch by Nintendo . Became a big fan of Zelda after hourglass and twilight princess, and been hooked since.
Also cannot wait for new season of Destiny 2 after season of opulence by bungie. Love their raids and coop, played since destiny 1 and fell in love with pretty much every single raid!
The Xbox (Microsoft) announcement is mostly what I’m looking forward too, it’s all I play on
I’m excited to get more details about Watch Dogs 3, developed by Ubisoft (Montreal). It sounds like it will be very exciting to play – an open world set in London with hacking central to game play mechanics! Perhaps a bit more stealthy gameplay?
Last of us 2! Naughty dog makes the best games. Hoping for a new uncharted series too. Playing days gone to get myself ready for the last of us 2 later this year

I am very excited for the announcement of the remake of Zelda Link’s Awakening on Nintendo Switch. That was the first Zelda game I played when I was young and since then, I became a big fan of the Zelda universe and have enjoyed all the Zelda games that came after.
I am really looking forward to the future of PlayStation and Xbox as they recently announced Sony and Microsoft joining together. This partnership could do so much for console gaming and I’m really excited for the future!
I’m most excited for Sony’s PS5 coming out! This is very exciting for me because I can’t wait to play the games that had come out on the older playstations as well!

Im looking forward to the new COD: Modern Warfare By Infinity Ward and announced by Call Of Duty mainly because ive always been a COD fan and its a Modern Warfare game its not MW2 but its still old school boots on the ground Modern Warfare with better Graphics and old Characters making a return gonna be an excellent game and campaign!
The Last Of Us 2 by Naughty Dog. The first one for me has blown the standards for games. I’m really excited to see which direction they’re gonna take the series now.
I am extremely excited for boarderlands 3. The first two games and VR were such creatively animated games, with such memorable characters.

Cant wait for the release of Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled on the Xbox one. I’m looking forward to Activision’s remastered gem comparable to Mario Kart 64! Spent hours playing Crash Bandicoot, back in the day.
Final Fantasy VII Remake by Square Enix. One of my favorite games of all time and it looks like they have made great improvements to gameplay and graphics
I’m super excited for the Animal Crossing game that will come out later this year for the Nintendo Switch! Ever since Nintendo made the announcement, I’ve been eagerly waiting for more updates and a set release date. Animal Crossing has been a childhood game of mine, and I would love to play it on the Switch and relive my childhood. The interactive gameplay and fun quests are a great way to relieve stress and pass time, I’m happy that the kids growing up right now will be able to also experience it.
Control is by Remedy studios, who made one of my favorite games Max Payne 2. Borderlands 3 should be good, and Doom Eternal will be great action. Cyberpunk 2077 is by another great game studio so that should be a quality game too.
I wish they would announce a new Final Fantasy Tactics!
Really looking forward to Activision’s Call Of Duty Modern Warfare by Infinity Ward. I have really enjoyed playing their games in the past so I hope the new one Stacks up. Also I’m super excited to learn more about Microsoft project Xcloud and how it will Ultimately do against Googles Stadia streaming service . What kind of price point And subscription model they will use and everything that’s entailed with it!!
As a fan of the old 80’s role playing game Cyberpunk and William Gibson’s books contributing to the genre, I am super excited to see CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077. I feel console gaming is in a place where it can finally handle the graphics needed to make this genre really come to life, and this type of gritty story-driven game will be accepted in the market. Can’t wait!
Ubisoft: Assassin’s Creed 2020 is going to take the Assassin world to the next level. With new features that improve mobility and movement, I can’t wait what they are going to present

I am most excited for the game Final Fantasy 7 remake from square Enix. I’m excited for this because it takes a game from my childhood that has so many good memories and brings it to modern gaming to me as an adult. I am excited to see how they adapted the game and to re-experience the game reimagined by the developers.

Super stoked about The Last of Us Part 2!!! The first part was a game changer!! Graphics, storyline, acting; you really felt for the characters. I love how storytelling in video games are becoming better than movies these days! There’s a reason why the first Last of Us won so many game of the year awards. Can’t wait for part 2 on the PS4!! Naughty Dog knows what they’re doing!
Nintendo switch pro and mini console (not officially announced but super hyped if it does) will be by Nintendo if it happens!! I can’t wait to try three houses and ultimate alliance on an amped up version of the switch!

The most exciting announcement this year is The Last of Us Part 2 by Naughty Dog. I loved playing the first one and it was one of my favourite games ever!
The game announcement that I am most excited for would definitely be Dying Light 2 from Techland! The first Dying Light was the game that helped me escape during a rough time in my life, and it was the first game I put in over 100 hrs on. I am hoping the second instalment is up to par with how the first one made me feel! Cannot wait until E3!!!
