Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Alternatively, it may be a recently released game that was demoed at last year’s show. This may be the year when you discover something new that quickly becomes a new favourite. Probably the announcement that has me both the most excited yet also the most worried is about Google’s gaming platform “Stadia” Which could completely revolutionize the way people play ,pay and experience video games!
So excited for the new Call of Duty Modern Warfare coming announced by Playstation!! Played every Call of Duty since the original Modern Warfare so this will just be nostalgia and excitement the entire time, so excited!! Captain Price is returning too so much feels haha.
I am most excited for the Playstation 5 announcement. I have a PS2 and haven’t played much in the last few years. It would be amazing to see the improvements that have been made since the PS2. I’m sure games are on a brand new level now!
I’m soooo amped up for Pokémon Sword and Shield announces by the Nintendo Company. Finally the long awaited release of a console Pokémon game for the series. Being able to bring over all my old Pokémon, explore a new world, and catch new Pokémon. This is a wave of nostalgia washing over me that I haven’t felt in close to a decade!
I already loved the Stadia announcement so anything involving cloud gaming.
I gotta say that I am most excited for gameplay of Halo Infinite from 343 Studios. Been a fanboy of the Halo series for so long now, so I’m excited for a new instalment to the franchise.
I’d like to see a Bloodborne 2 announcement from FromSoft but probably not gonna happen.
Well I’ve not really played any games for over 20 plus yrs not my thing The X-Box all of Call of Duty would be something to try
The game announcement that has had me most excited in 2019 is CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077. This announcement has excited me the most because it promises truly next generation performance – from realistically populated worlds, to giant sandbox landscapes. Not to mention, I am a big fan of Blade Runner, and this game has an incredibly similar aesthetic. I’ll finally be able to play a game based in a truly cyberpunk world. Dreams = fulfilled!

The announcement I was most excited about was Nintendo’s announcement for Super Mario Maker 2.
My wife and I just welcomed our first child into this world, and I love the idea of a game like that inspiring the next generation of creators.
Super stoked about Borderlands 3 and new DLC for Borderlands 2 by Gearbox. More loot is the best loot.
I am looking forward to a Playstation, as I have never got one before, and I am a big fan of Super Mario brothers, I am excited about looking forward to winning Nintendo Prize Pack.
The gaming announcement of 2019 that has me most excited is the release of Borderlands 3. As a kid I used to play Borderlands 1 and 2 with my brother playing co-op, and cannot wait to relive some of those moments, even though I’ve moved across the country.
I’m excited for call of duty: modern warfare. Its always my favorite call of duty. And now that a brand new one is to release this October makes me so pumped. Thank you Infinity Ward for bringing this back!
I hope they are able to balance the actual game with all the micro transactions. I’ve found that gaming has been really lacklustre the last few years with all the micro transactions focusing on making money rather than making a good game
I am looking forward to seeing what the new Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order game looks like on PS4 and maybe PS5. I first seen the Pre Order in Sony PlayStation store and I’ve been waiting to see how it looks because I’ve been craving a good Jedi RPG on console like the knights of the old republic. I am irrationally excited for the Final Fantasy 7 remake from Square Enix for PS4. This game got me fully immersed into gaming and I get to relive the fun.
The most exciting announcements of 2019 thus far for me would be both the specifications of the “PS5” which was released by Mark Cerny in an interview as well as the announcement of gameplay video of Death standing by Kohima Productions under Sony Interactive Entertainment, with the story details and game facts as well as release and preorder dates , this made me really excited for the game. It goes without explaining why the PS5 specifications are so important as it is next gen and in addition Sony will not be at E3 this year. Death Stranding is exciting because of how ambiguous it was from the start and using such a familiar character face as well as the details of the game shown will make for an immersive and rich game play and story, plus who doesn’t want to know what the deal is with the “baby” attached to his suit in some sort of fluid.
Furthermore, as much as there is no announcement, just the announcement of E3 made me exciting as the possibility of some information or release date of the Last of Us Part 2 May be released before or during E3 even though Sony will not be present.

Nintendo’s announcement of The legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening remake for the Switch is what im most excited. It is my favorite childhood Zelda game. id like to revisite it with HD graphics

Final Fantasy 7 Remake has me excited, this is by SqareEnix for the Sony PS4(5 likely) and this is a game I loved back in the day and will still play so an updated version excites me quite a bit.
I was most excited about the announcement of Harvest Moon: Mad Dash for the Nintendo Switch. I’ve been waiting for Natalie to announce a new Harvest Moon game for what feels like forever, and I can’t wait to see more of the game at E3. Harvest Moon games have always brought a smile to my face the way few others have been able to, and being able to play a AAA console quality Harvest Moon experience on the go on the Nintendo Switch is something I’ve always dreamt about.
The Nintendo Switch and titles like this are important to me because I tend to be on the go quite a bit, both traveling for leisure and for work, and these kinds of handheld experiences are a life saver for those long flights and hours on the road. Can’t wait to see what else Nintendo has up their sleeves, but for now the announcement of Harvest Moon: Mad Dash by Natsume is what has me smiling ear to ear!

I’m looking forward to all the announcements Nintendo is making for their future games! Also, very excited for Crash Team Racing. I have been a huge fan of Crash bandicoot since I was a kid and CTR was one of my first Ps1 games!

Death Stranding! I am so excited to see more footage and gameplay from Kojima’s new horror-themed masterpiece. Just ahead of this years E3 it got a release date – I just can’t wait for this game!
So much to be excited about! I’m primarily a PC gamer but used to play PS in the past so I follow news on both. I can’t really narrow it down but I’m excited about the Final Fantasy XII remake, Beyond Good and Evil 2, Borderlands 3 and Cyberpunk 2077!
I’m most excited for final fantasy 7 remake by square Enix!! It’s been so long since they first announced it and there haven’t been many updates since. The original was one of my most beloved games growing up, I unlocked every secret weapon, boss, item, chocobo, side quest, character. Unfortunate the original aged poorly in terms of graphics and some story elements so it would be awesome to see it updated with current graphic standards and gameplay mechanics. The characters are all awesome too and deserve to be given new life!

After seeing the trailer from Activision for the 2019 instalment of Call of Duty:Modern Warfare I have a feeling I’m going to have to clock off from work on time for once and pick up the DualShock once again!

E3 sounds like it’s going to be super packed and I love it, I am pumped to hear about the new PS5 as well as the last of us 2. Just seen the new trailer for Norman Reedus’ new game ( I am a huge walking dead fan).

Sony PlayStation 5 announcement!! Been a PlayStation fan/user since the beginning , and Im really excited to see the new technology and computing/graphics power they will be implementing into the new console.
Im really exited about the future of destiny 2 announcement from bungie because its a great game to hop in with your friends and playing the game and just hanging doing missions and stuff especially if your friends live in a different province than you
