Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Alternatively, it may be a recently released game that was demoed at last year’s show. This may be the year when you discover something new that quickly becomes a new favourite. Super excited for Xbox’s halo infinite announcement. Such a great franchise. One of gamings best in my opinion. I’m interested to see where they take halo next. Regardless of what direction they go in I’m sure it’ll be a great addition to the series
excited about Sony PlayStation 5 — it’s gonna be da bomb
I’m most excited about Sony’s PlayStation 5. Not only will it be the latest generation console, its ability to play PS4 games will have it replace a lot of people’s PS4. I’m also as excited for Nintendo and The Pokemon Company’s release of Pokemon Sword & Pokemon Shield for Nintendo Switch because it’s one of my favorite video game franchises ever.
A new Switch model! I don’t get systems at launch and wait for them to iron out all the kinks. Excited to maybe pick one up and play Pokémon Sword & Shield.
I am most excited about the Sony PS5 announcement. Looking forward to seeing the Technological and graphical advancements. The last Playstation I owned was a ps3, so winning one of these prizes would be a definite upgrade. Good luck to everyone who has entered.
It’s a toss up between Nintendo and Sony. Nintendo has a ton of new games they are announcing that are going to amaze like Pokemon sword and shield. Can’t wait for a the new Pokémon game. Sony will be highlighting the PS5 specs. I’m very much looking forward to hearing what the capabilities are and what they want to push for the PS5.
Looking forward to the PS5 and FF7 remake. I’ve had the PS1 since I was a little kid and played FF7. It was one of my favorite games. I’ve been a fan of PlayStation for my entire life and now that my favorite console and favorite game is coming out, I can’t wait!
I’m very excited about Xbox announcing that they will have 14 first-party games to show off at E3 2019, since this is the most they’ve had in a long time, and because they currently lack some exclusive titles to compete with Playstation’s many great exclusives. Hyped for what Microsoft has in store!
Hearing about call of duty modern Warfare has excited me the most. Call of duty YouTube channel announced the official name and release date. It excited me because call of duty has always been my favourite franchise, I grew up playing since call of duty 2 and 3. This franchise has been with me through so many years and finding out they are doing so many things to improve and revive the series just gets me so hyped

I’m personally very excited about the upcoming Pokemon Sword & Shield games for the Nintendo Switch! I’ve been a huge fan of Pokemon (as I’m sure many other are) since I was a little kid, and it’s always really exciting whenever a new Pokemon game is announced – especially in this case as it is the first Pokemon game coming to the Switch.
I am really excited for the next generation of console coming out. It’s gonna b lightning fast . Also I wish they can release tekken tag tournament with the next console.
Ps5 for sure, specs sounds super impressive so far can’t wait to see what kind of groundbreaking advancements they make in the console realm. Gonna be some amazing games for the console.
very excited about the announcement of the Sony PlayStation 5 (PSV / PS5). It’s very important to be because I have been a long-time Sony PlayStation fan and my last console was a PlayStation 2 (PS2)! I want to see what Sony has to offer in order to start gaming again!

The Oculus Quest is the big thing for me as it will allow people to play VR games more like a console, no need for a powerful computer. This should make it more popular and help get games and technology progressing faster.
I believe it’s estimated for 2020? But, the Pokemon Sleep announcement during the Pokemon Conference, Select Button who make Magikarp Jump is behind it so I’m pretty excited with how they’ll handle it. I’m sure we could ALL use a sleep guiding app, but I’m excited that Pokemon might give us a new intensive to actually get healthy levels of sleep. Trust me I could use it.

I am most excited by the Final Fantasy VII remake trailer that I had seen PlayStation post on social media. While I have always been a Square Enix fan, Final Fantasy VII was my first RPG and sparked a life-long love of games, even putting me on the path to study video game design and development in post secondary. It’s not often we can relive the experience of playing a game for the first time twice but Square Enix is giving me the opportunity.
I’m really looking forward to more info from Gearbox regarding Borderlands 3 (and also the apparent rumors around more Borderlands 2 DLC to tie things in for the new game).
This is important to me as my friends and I have played this series together since the first game and have spent countless hours laughing and have a good time together. If nothing else this series has given me many great memories with good friends.

Announcement about halo and it coming to pc and last of us 2
My two kids are HUGE Nintendo Switch fans (taking after their dad whose video game pedigree includes Atari 2600, Genesis and Commodore 64). Can’t wait for E3 and details on Metroid Prime 4, Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Animal Crossing. E3 is always exciting, sort of like an early Christmas 😉

I am excited for the Final Fantasy 7 remake from Square Enix for PS4. i always wanted to revisit this game in a less buggy form.

As with every E3 I am most excited about the things that I haven’t even heard of yet. I am waiting for the Sony/Nintendo/XBOX announcements to have that moment where the lights go dark and you just see a logo, a characters silhouette, or an iconic sound from a game and the whole crowd explodes in a cloud of hype that can be seen from space! That or those moments where a company announces a new IP and all you can think of is “Wait a minute, what was THAT game?” then you spend the next hour going over the trailer a hundred times. But if I have to be specific and be clear I am most excited for more details about Square Enix’s Marvel’s Avengers game. With how amazing the new Marvel’s Spiderman game was and how much I have always loved Square Enix games I am pretty pumped for this one.
I am most excited about Sony’s PlayStation 5 announcement! The growth in technology and the advancements that have been occurring in our society recently are amazing and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for the gaming industry!
I’m most excited about the coverage to come for the Final Fantasy VII Remake for PS4 by Square Enix! I’ve been a huge fan of the Final Fantasy franchise and Final Fantasy VII was my first Final Fantasy game I ever played, so I’m super excited to see a full remake of it finally becoming a real thing! No more paintbrush hands!

I am beyond excited for the upcoming kingdom hearts 3 made my Square Enid. I’d be so happy to win any of the prizes, but I’d love a Nintendo switch! This is a franchise that helped shape and arc my childhood. The incredible fond memories I have of the gameplay and the characters I simply can’t put into words.
I’m really looking forward to some modern warfare gameplay, hopefully call of duty will pick up it’s roots. Been wanting an Xbox one x for a while because they’re the most powerful console
