Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. I am most excited to see the new Avengers game from Square Enix. It has been a really long time since it was announced and we’ve heard almost nothing about it since then. Also since then, we have seen the MCU blow up into the massive thing it is today. It seems that after Spiderman on PS4, Marvel is trying to do for their video games what was done for the MCU and I cant wait to see if this lives up to its potential. I’ve been a fan of these characters since I was a kid and I cant wait to play as all of my favorite heroes.
Final Fantasy 7 remake on PS4, it is one of my favorite games growing up with my brother. Fun times:)
It definitely has to be the PlayStation 5! It’s important to be because I’ve had every console (1-4) and it’s always exciting to see what Sony comes up with for new releases.
I am most excited for the Nintendo Switch console, and Super Mario Odyssey. Both the console and the game are very important to me since my fondest childhood memories are playing Nintendo games with friends and family. I am a huge Nintendo fan and still own all my consoles and games. I remember playing hours of Dr. Mario on the NES (and creating Dr. Mario family tournaments!) to Super Mario All Stars on the Super Nintendo, and to Super Mario 64 on the N64. I haven’t been able to afford the latest Nintendo console and would absolutely love to own the Switch and experience the evolution of Mario. Thank you for making this awesome contest!!!
I’m most excited about the new Pokémon sword and shield for switch. My son is in an intense Pokémon phase right now so this will be a great time to bond with him.
The Link’s Awakening remake is super exciting to me. It looks like the game will be taking lots of cues from 2013’s A Link Between Worlds, which had a ton of clever mechanics, neat elements, and crisp gameplay. I hope Link’s Awakening is even better!!
I am excited to see if this year we finally get a new splinter cell game. It’s been a very long time Ubisoft has released a full splinter cell game. Easily my favorite Xbox game/ franchise.

I would really like to see what XBox has to say about it’s next gen machine as well as any info on Halo Infinite and when that might be coming down the pipe.. Then I will need to start saving up to get my hands on them…
Really excited for Activision ‘s newest Call of Duty, Modern Warfare. I’ve always enjoyed the COD games, but the Modern Warfare games were my favourite. Also looking forward to the story mode.
I’m really excited for getting more information on Cyberpunk but even more so I’m super excited for seeing Gearbox Softwares Borderlands 3 as the game series has been one of my favourite ever since I started playing it on the ps3!
I am excited for a new Xbox console announcement. My son is finally old enough to start playing and if there is a new Xbox then now is the time to buy!
The announcement that PS5 is coming to stores.
After all the delays and then the development restart, I’m hoping to see some progress on Metroid Prime 4. I’ve been a fan of Metroid since the Gameboy and Metroid 2. It would be awesome to finally see the series on next gen after all this time. Although, if another 2D Metroid was shown I’d be happy with that too.
The game that has me the most excited is Mario Maker 2 for Nintendo switch. Since unveiling a little earlier this year I can’t stop feeling like this will be the last 2D Mario I’ll ever need with endless challenge.
I’m most excited to see the future of Halo with Halo Infinite from Microsoft, it’s been a very long wait and I can’t wait to see how the series goes back to it’s roots!

I’m excited for NHL 20 for Xbox one x why I’m I excited because NHL is my favorite game and it’s my favorite sport too and best but and xbox is the best and NHL is the best thank you for every NHL.
I’m most excited to see what Microsoft is announcing for new Xbox systems. Sounds like the plan is to offer the system that has everything and the system the affordable yet still loaded plan b for those who don’t want to spend as much money. Also excited to see what Microsoft has in store for forza 8 as good as 7 was I think they have a lot more left to offer and after a great horizon why not follow up with the equivalent forza 8
I’m most excited for news regarding a potential upcoming watchdogs game on PC. I know people didn’t really like it but it was one of the only games I felt legitimately hyped up for when I first saw its announcement.
I’m most excited to hear news about the Final Fantasy 7 Remake developed by Square Enix.

I am hoping for a showing of the new Metroid Prime being developed by Retro Studios for the Nintendo Switch. Its been too many years since announcement, gotta get my hands on it!!!!!!
I’m excited about the game DOOM Eternal from Bethesda. This game will be release on PC but also on all the consoles. This year they announced that Doom Eternal would come to Google’s upcoming Stadia streaming platform. So you can have it everywhere and this game is one the first game that revolutionized the industry. A good game combined with the nostalgia and good graphics, you can’t ask for more.
I can’t wait for the Avengers! My nephew loves the characters so it will very great to spend some time with him playing
My interest is piqued by the Link’s Awakening remake from Nintendo, because its visual style is simultaneously modern and throwback. It looks adorable!
I’m hoping to hear more info about the new Animal crossing game from Nintendo. Never played one before so this will be more time playing one!
My last comment had a mistake in my comment. Great times have been spent playing Nintendo prize pack #1 as my son now has all its games. We would be most excited to try out new game options from the PS4 prize pack, there looks like some awesome games available.

I’m most exited for the Nintendo switch release of Pokémon sword and shield. I’ve been a Pokémon fan since I was 6 years old. I’m also very excited for its next Pokémon cloud based transfer service and would like to get the game so I can play with my girlfriend!
Animal crossing has been long overdue
It has to be the return of Crash Bandicoot ! Activision is bringing this back in June with Crash Bandicoot-Nitro Fueled! for PS4. A great family game that I played with my son 20 years ago, we are both excited to try the new version that has a lot of nostalgia elements to it. His younger brother who is 9 years junior , has never played it and we are anxious to introduce him to Crash. When techradar.com posted the release my older son immediately booked a trip home in July for a Crash Bandicoot Racing-Nitro Fueled weekend!
